I have recently retired after 30+ years in higher education and needed some guidance about investing in retirement. I also had employer contributions in two separate accounts and wasn’t sure how best to move forward. Staton Financial Group met with me for almost 2 hours prior to my retirement to receive an overall view of our financial picture and then again to establish a plan forward. Scott Staton is extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful when discussing one’s financial needs/desires and more importantly, he’s trustworthy. He is also very well versed about taxes in retirement along with the nuances to consider with Social Security. I knew when I was ready that I would be seeking advice and services from Staton Financial Group and it has provided me with a plan and peace of mind.

Seem to be very knowledgeable of what is available and how to best take advantage of it. Came up with a better plan than I was able to do. However, after just under 3 weeks there appears to be some difficulty with the execution of the plan. In their defense the problem looks to be with the company they chose to work with. Time will tell! Just received word that the problem is not with them or the other company. It appears that my wife’s SSN has been reported connected to a deceased person. We are currently working with both companies to rectify the problem. Make no mistake, this a highly motivated financial group that works hard for their clients. You may become overwhelmed by their enthusiasm but you will not be let down. Highly recommended.
