This is hands down the best barbershop in the city! Ive been cut by each barber and they all do great work and make sure i walk out happy and confident. The shop environment is chill and fun plus the space is very clean

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been getting my haircuts at Steel City Barber Lounge for over a year and have always received great service. The barbers are skilled, professional, and well-rounded in their craft. I usually get a fade and beard trim, but I’ve tried other styles as well and they always deliver exactly what I ask for. I go to Sancho for my cuts, but the entire staff does great work and interacts well with their clients. You can tell people leave the shop happy every time. Highly recommend Steel City Barber Lounge for a great cut and an overall excellent barber experience.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I felt this was worth sharing so others aren’t misled like I was. I’m new to the area and chose this barber because of the high Google rating. I asked for a simple taper fade on the sides and back and about 0.5 inch off the top. I explained how I usually style my hair (folded to the side), asked that my hair be pulled forward before cutting, and even showed a short video of the exact style I wanted. At the time, the barber seemed to understand and was confident he could do it. The taper fade itself was okay, but the top was very uneven. The front ended up much shorter than the back, the sides weren’t blended well into the top, and the uneven length makes it hard to style my hair either forward or to the side. The back portion of the top now sticks up, which wasn’t what I asked for. Based on the result, it felt like scissor work on the top wasn’t a strong point, especially when it came to keeping the length even and blending properly. The total was $54, which set an expectation for more precision than what I personally received. I’m not looking for a refund or a fix — just sharing my experience so people can make an informed choice. I went in expecting work that matched a 4.9-star rating, and for me, it didn’t.

Best barbershop in Pittsburgh!!! I’ve been getting my haircut by Theo for the past 2 years and he never disappoints. The guys at the shop are all super professional and hospitable. Tried a ton of shops after moving to pittsburgh and this one tops them all. Great price, great service, super hospitable.
