We were very pleased with the instructor we had. Lee was very professional, on time and consistent. He helped with both our kids learn what they needed to pass the test. I was very pleased with him and would highly recommend him.
Mary had the patience to teach my daughter how to drive - safely and correctly. I would highly recommend this instructor to anyone that is new ti driving or needs a refresher lesson. She instills such confidence in the drivers. Kudos to Mary!
According to the owners, my experience is being dismissed because other students had positive ones. I’m glad that was the case for them, but that does not invalidate my own experience. Unfortunately, my instructor was not equipped to work with students who have driving anxiety. This became evident through repeated unnecessary and discouraging comments made during my lessons. While I did not file a complaint at the time, this was largely because the lessons were already paid for, clearly non-refundable, and it was apparent that instructors were overbooked. What was most troubling is that on the day of my road test, my instructor told me that if I failed, I should contact her because there was another instructor who is much better at working with anxious students. I was left wondering why this information was withheld until my final lesson…. It seems to like yous were just trying to sell more overpriced lessons. I never mentioned my road test results in my original review. I focused on the instructors ability to handle anxiety. The owner chose to disclose that information anyway, which speaks for itself in terms of professionalism. My experience was not a pleasant one. If this is what the company claims to “strive” for, then in my case, they fell short.
On the date of my road test, I was very pleased to meet a kind, spirited woman who helped me feel confident enough to take my road test. Before her arrival, I was worried about my ability to parallel park properly, she relaxed my nerves and helped me understand how to do it in the most simple precise way. I’d like to publicly thank Ayana for the wonderful job she did. I don’t think it would’ve been possible to do it without her.
Stevens Driving School is great!! I completed my CDL Class B with John. He was very professional, quick and accommodating. Their trucks are very well maintained and clean as well! If your trying to obtain your CDL look no further Steven's has you covered!
