1000!!!! I had a wonderful visit! Megan(I hope I spelled it correctly) who is a manager was working the bar and took care of me. She was so very welcoming and kind. I ordered my coke first then she gave me a menu and we chatted about how TERRIBLE the parking has become at Cumberland mall! Side bar It took me 6-10 to find a spot very unacceptable. Anyway back to Megan… she was able to make me forget that I was irritated about the parking by helping me decide on what to eat. I got the Prime rib and the sweet potato casserole that casserole was so good I could have just eaten that and been just fine!! I really enjoyed it. The prime rib was good! I added blue cheese crusting to it and of course that elevated it! The volume of the atmosphere was moderate I was still able to take care of some business and concentrate just fine. The waiter checked on me a good number of times too! Great experience great service great food!!

---NEW REVIEW Second Visit--- Came back and tried the pecan crusted trout. Sadly, it was a no. The portion size was the only plus. The fish was bland and not seasoned at all. My waiter was also pushing the cream corn, so I tried it. It was way too sweet, not my favorite. All in all, since this is a steakhouse it seems that should be the ONLY way to go. The waiter did admit that they don't do fish well (as far as flavor). The steaks are the main character and that's my final verdict. -------‐-----———— Food was absolutely delicious. Ribeye was cooked to perfection. I want to try the pecan crusted trout next.

Once I tasted my meal, I got over the prices. Everything tasted great. If I had a critique, it would be to increase the number of medallions from 3 to 5 so that it's in proportion with the side that I choose, and that heavenly crab cake.

I visited Stoney River at Cumberland Mall on Thursday, and after more than a decade of coming here, it remains my absolute go-to spot for a great steak. I’ve had steaks in pricier, well-known restaurants all over the country, and I still haven’t found one that tops what Stoney consistently delivers. My filet was perfectly prepared—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. I added the fried shrimp and had their always-dependable mashed potatoes on the side. I was a little disappointed to learn they no longer offer the lobster tail, but the crab cake appetizer more than made up for it. Service was excellent, and the bartender did a great job taking care of us. We arrived early hoping to sit by the fireplace; unfortunately, that area was reserved and remained empty during our 90-minute visit. A bit disappointing, but now I know to request those seats ahead of time. Overall, another fantastic experience. Stoney continues to set the bar for steak in my book.

Review of Stoney River – Cumberland Location: My daughter and I recently visited Stoney River for lunch (we usually go for dinner), and it was such a great experience. The vibe was really nice, and we were seated very quickly. The customer service was truly top tier. The manager on duty—Antonio, if I read his card correctly—was absolutely awesome. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and that kind of hospitality really stood out. We’ll definitely be coming back soon. Thank you to Antonio and the whole team for making our lunch such a great experience!
