We had a great experience! Richard & his son helped us install pool-safe gates, & the entire process was smooth & quick. The gates were ready in just a few days & installed in one day. They were honest, reliable, & the quality of their work was excellent. Also, they offered the cheapest price we found after contacting several gate companies. Highly recommend!
Great company to work with. The crew was on time, very friendly and took the time to go over exactly what I wanted. Job was done in a timely manner and looks fantastic. Couldn’t be happier with the service and would highly recommend.
The good: Richard promptly responded to my request for a quote and had my new gate built and installed within two weeks. The gate visually looks great. The bad: On my previous gate, the deadbolt and latch bolt were securely locked into the gate’s frame. However, the gate from Straight Gate has only two small metal tabs that the deadbolt and latch bolt fit behind. Consequently, once you’re inside, you can easily see and disable the lock because it’s completely exposed. Additionally, on the first hot day after the installation, I discovered that the gate expands slightly when heated, causing the frame to catch on one of the small tabs. I also found getting in touch with Richard to resolve the issue took multiple phone messages and text messages. To his credit, once he did return my call, he was able to have someone out that day to fix it.
I'm so glad I found this business! My gate was very old/worn out. I was getting constant solicitors, which made me feel unsafe. I contacted Straight Gate Fence and explained exactly what I needed. They evaluated and gave me a quote. 2 weeks later the gate was ready. They were very flexible with my schedule and got it done in less than 3 hours. Ruben helped remove my old gate and replaced it with the new one. He was very professional and efficient. He helped explain how to use my new keypad lock, and Richard helped with letting me know the maintenance for the new gate. It's been 6 months and I'm always getting compliments on it. I sleep peacefully now knowing that my family won't need to worry about strangers wandering onto my property anymore. I'll definitely contact them for future projects!
