UPDATE: I wanted to make an update just to say I still feel the same way about this studio. It just gets better and better. I’m addicted to the burn and atmosphere! ORIGINAL: I drive an hour just to join classes at strong Wellington west! The owners and trainers are so welcoming, supportive, and knowledgeable on every course. They always check for injuries at the beginning of a class to ensure modifications are given as needed/wanted. Couldn’t recommend a Pilates gym more!
I have been a fitness, gym/yoga teacher for over 30 years. Love the Strong infusion of Reformer Pilates with weights and cardio. I especially like the cleanliness and simplicity of the space and the many classes they have to offer. You are in and out for the rest of your day. If you are a beginner or a gym "lover" and want to add, or try something different to "switch things up", definitely give Strong Pilates your time. They have a range of weights and cables to satisfy every strength and experience level. Also wonderful that they are in the heart of delicious eateries and wonderful local shopping.
Absolutely love this studio! The perfect balance of Pilates and cardio. Where every class is challenging, energizing, and so well-structured. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, motivating, and make you feel supported no matter your fitness level. The studio itself is clean, welcoming, and has such a great vibe that keeps you coming back. I always leave feeling stronger, accomplished, and in a better mood. Highly recommend to anyone looking for effective, fun workouts in a positive environment!

This is hands down the best Pilates studio I’ve ever been to! The mix of cardio and Pilates keeps every class fun and challenging, and you can feel it working your whole body. The staff are incredible—super friendly and welcoming. Mel goes out of her way to make sure everyone feels comfortable, and Dominic’s classes are absolutely amazing! He’s so attentive with posture and always shows modified versions so everyone can follow along. The energy here is unmatched. Honestly, best Pilates experience in Ottawa—highly recommend!
