This a very unique shop. It has different things other than typical antique shops. Everyone was nice and friendly. I picked up a Hummingbird made from Jade and Rose Quartz and it never left my hand. Love it. I will be back.
Subject Matter Lex is one of my favorite spots in Lexington! You can find anything from art and home décor to jewelry and clothing. This store is so inspiring and unique! I feel like each time I visit, I discover something new. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the layout because everything has its own space and nothing feels cluttered. It’s the kind of place where you can spend some time browsing and admiring all the beautiful pieces. Their restroom is so fun and artistic, filled with mirrors and colorful paintings. My personal favorite would have to be the clothing sections; they have so many options to choose from and very reasonable prices. The environment is calm and welcoming. I’m so happy that I discovered this gem, and I’m excited to visit again in the future. If you appreciate history and art, Subject Matter is the perfect place for you!
Such cool curated vintage shop! If I had a huge house I’d buy all my furniture and decorations from here! They also had a pretty nice selection of jewelry, shoes and clothes. I ended up buying a record, but wish I could have gotten more! Also they had the funkiest bathroom I’ve ever seen I loved it
Love this vintage shop! I've been loads of times and the staff is always genuinely welcoming and helpful. They've got a great place and I always find fantastic stuff there! Prices are also super reasonable. 5 stars!
Stopped in right before leaving town after a weekend trip and can’t believe I didn’t go sooner! I love shopping vintage/secondhand and this is one of the most unique shops I’ve been to. It was such a treat and I can’t wait to come back! Definitely left with that top hat plant stand and I’m obsessed with it 😍
