Ordered Tokyo Platter, salmon sashimi and gyoza for takeout. Gyoza arrived only slightly warm, tasted okay, but it was clear they were not freshly made. Salmon sashimi arrived at room temperature, with a noticeable fishy smell. Texture was fatty and acceptable, but serving sashimi warm is concerning and not what you expect from a sushi place. The rolls were the biggest disappointment. They were completely bland, with rice that felt dry, sticky and old, very similar to pre-packed supermarket sushi. Honestly, it felt like something made long before and just assembled or reheated, not fresh restaurant sushi. Given the 4.8 rating, this was extremely misleading. If you’re expecting fresh, made-to-order sushi, this is not it. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but felt it was important to be honest so others know what to expect.

This place! Honestly the best sushi spot in the area. The selection is amazing! Much richer than most other sushi places. I love the huge variety of maki rolls. The sushi is soft, juicy, and incredibly fresh (a good vet could probably bring the fish back to life 🤭). Every bite is full of flavour with lovely touches like sauces, mayo, and other tasty details. Once I came a bit late to pick up my order, and (I think) the owner kindly prepared our starters again so they’d be warm, and even gave us a complimentary dessert! Such a thoughtful gesture. Love, love, love this place!

Been here twice, both times were amazing food and atmosphere. The decor is awesome and the waiting staff very friendly and welcoming. Very reasonably priced food.

Really good sushi!! Coming from an Asian person✨ the udon is good too - good location - park on cottrell Road then walk! - bit spenny but still better than ones in town - visited several times now!!

The food is extremely delicious. Salmon is fresh, eel is sweet. Environmental is clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. We were late due to traffic, but the staff proactively called and changed the booking time for us. I don’t live close by but I’ll certainly come again.
