Rudy is the real deal. If you're like me, you probably googled men's haircut in Austin and came across a variety of reports and opinions on SWAYD, mostly glowing and some detailing feeling intimidated by the intro process. I can tell you that the experience of sitting with Rudy and discussing my hair care and learning from him was so valuable and worth it. And I came away from each haircut thinking "that was the best haircut I ever had." If you're considering it, give it a go.
Rudy’s a pro, and I always look forward to my haircuts with him. I love that he’s someone who won’t BS you and he really wants to help you make the most of your hair. He’s also super knowledgeable about how to care for and style it. He is pricey, but I think he’s worth it.
I’ve been going to Rudy for almost 4 years now, and it’s hands-down the best haircut I’ve ever had. His attention to detail and thoughtfulness are unmatched. On top of that, the shop has such great vibe. Highly recommend!

Rudy is the best! I've been going to him for almost 8 years now and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. He's super professional, passionate about what he does, and consistently gives me the best haircuts I've ever had. Rudy’s knowledge of hair cutting is bottomless, and he’s always learning new techniques to perfect his craft. This allows him to really tailor each haircut to the customer on a level that I never knew was possible. Every couple years or so, he'll also suggest that we try something slightly different - and the results have always been amazing. If you're new to Austin or just looking for a new barber, definitely give Rudy a shot...you won't be disappointed!
