Sylvan Learning of Chesapeake ofrece servicios de tutoría especializados diseñados para ayudar a los estudiantes a superar los desafíos académicos y prosperar en la escuela. Especializándose en lectura, matemáticas y otras materias básicas, el centro ofrece programas personalizados que aumentan la confianza, mejoran las habilidades y fomentan el gusto por el aprendizaje. Con un personal de apoyo y métodos probados, atiende a familias en Chesapeake y las áreas circundantes, ayudando a niños desde la educación primaria hasta la secundaria a alcanzar su máximo potencial.

Instrucción individualizada en lectura, matemáticas y otras asignaturas básicas, adaptada para abordar las brechas de aprendizaje y metas individuales.

This place is amazing!! My granddaughter loves this place. She has come so far in the subjects she was struggling in. The staff is Awesome! It was the best decision I made for my granddaughter. Sylvan is the BEST!!

My daughter started attending sylvan because she was failing reading and math. She is in 3rd grade and just struggled so much this year. After she started at sylvan it took no time for us to see her confidence build and focus grow stronger for the topics she was once struggling with. She ended up passing both her reading and math SOLs in school!!!! We couldn’t be more pleased with the growth she has made thanks to sylvan! The teachers and staff here made her feel welcome and understood! I highly recommend Sylvan Learning Center to anyone looking for help for their struggling child.

My daughter has only been attending Sylvan (Chesapeake) location for a month, and she has gained so much confidence in her Reading and Math. I only have (1) child in the 5th grade, so I wanted her to get this boost of academic confidence before entering Middle School next year. Yes, the costs is a little pricey but they do have options to assist with that so please do not like finances be a reason your child(ren) fall behind. Coming from a single mother with a full time job and no financial support it can be done. THANK YOU SYLVAN FAMILY we will be back in September!

The entire staff and teachers here are incredible. My child was falling behind in school and they were able to turn her results around within weeks. They not only help your child stay current with their school curriculum but also foster a love for learning and academics from a young age. 10/10.

Our daughter was struggling in math last year. We live in Moyock so I started to look for a tutor and there was only online tutoring that I could find. So I called Sylvan Learning in Chesapeake! Their process for assessing where the student is in each academic area is important because they use this data to create the tutoring program. Each staff member is incredible. They go above and beyond to see that your child experiences success! They have meetings with you every 4 weeks to talk about your child's progress. They have a reinforcement system that my daughter loved. She got to earn tickets and then used them at their store for gift cards, toys, etc. My daughter went in with no confidence and walked out getting caught up to where she should be & even said she was going to miss this place. I would recommend everyone to use this program if their child needs it! Excellent company. I do not have anything other than compliments! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!
