We are beyond grateful for Sylvan Learning of San Jose - Westgate and especially for Gary, who has made such a meaningful impact on my daughter Charlize. Charlize came to Sylvan needing support in both math and reading, and from the very beginning, Gary showed incredible patience, encouragement, and genuine care. He has a wonderful way of breaking things down so they actually click, while also building her confidence along the way. We’ve seen real improvement not just academically, but in how she feels about learning overall. I also can’t say enough about how excellent the communication has been with Lisa and Abhishek. They are responsive, thoughtful, and truly invested in Charlize’s progress. Whether it’s check-ins, updates, or scheduling, I always feel informed, supported, and confident that my child is in good hands. Charlize now approaches math and reading with far less frustration and much more confidence, and that alone speaks volumes. The environment at Sylvan is warm, supportive, and well-structured, and the entire team clearly cares about their students’ success. Thank you to Gary, Lisa, Abhishek, and the entire Sylvan team for helping Charlize grow, learn, and believe in herself.
