Extremely disappointed with the service here. Paid over $600 to have a coolant light issue fixed, but it is still on. They upsold my wife on an oil change that clearly wasn't needed, as the old sticker showing 3k miles left was still on the dash. Furthermore, there is no evidence they actually replaced the fuel filters as claimed. Avoid this shop—they charge for work they do not perform.
I think this is now the longest oil change I have ever had. It’s obvious that the employees are commission paid . Very disappointed with the way things were handled. Almost $200 for an oil change when the dealership isn’t that high . Instead of looking at the air filter we look at the mileage and the Carfax ( is this the new way or a sales technique) . The carfax also told them I needed a coolant change as well. The guys were courteous and polite. Just honestly felt I was in a Shark tank for an hour . Take 5 has always been my go to for oil changes , but I’m sticking to the Saginaw location for now !! Just please know your car and don’t trust everyone. Ask questions and with this location you might have to always get a second opinion.
Take 5 in Lake Worth, TX is great! Justice the manager is the absolute best. She treats all her customers with the utmost respect as well as her employees. Everyone there always exhibits excellent customer service. Justice has always been the best manager and keeps everything running smoothly and always puts the customer and safety first. She is the reason i keep going back! Justice should be the example of how a good effective manager should be of all Take 5's!
Anthony greeted me with a smile and a bottle of cold water and I was immediately brought into a bay. A very nice young lady asked me what type oil I wanted and I chose the advanced synthetic high mileage not the most expensive but better than standard. She never tried to upsell me just a crisp yes sir and we will get right on that they moved like a team with a goal like getting me out driving again. I appreciated there service I will go back
GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT TAKE 5! I took my car in TWO days ago for what should’ve been the simplest service — an oil change. Instead, after wasting an HOUR AND A HALF of my time, the mechanic told me they “couldn’t unscrew the skid plate.” Fast forward to last night, I’m driving home from work and hear a horrible noise — the skid plate they couldn’t handle is now scraping the ground. Thanks to their incompetence, I’m left with a damaged skid plate. Did management step up and take responsibility? Of course not. The manager and the boss REFUSED to pay for the tow back to their shop. REFUSED to cover the cost of a new skid plate. Instead, they tried to pass the blame on the dealership, claiming the screws were “already damaged.” What a pathetic excuse. They even had the audacity to say they’d “print a list of issues” so I could get the dealership to reimburse me. Really? Why would a dealership pay for the damages caused by your underqualified, careless mechanics? This business is a complete joke. Zero accountability, zero professionalism, and clearly zero training. What should’ve been a quick oil change has now cost me time, money, and a damaged car. If you value your vehicle at all, do yourself a favor — STAY FAR AWAY from this scam of a shop. They’ll waste your time, ruin your car, and then try to weasel out of fixing their own mess, If i COULD i would give them 0 stars.
