If I could give a 0 I would. We drove from Marana , I am visiting from out of town and had seen this advertised and wanted a swap meet. They advertise as the largest in AZ and all these vendors. We arrived at 1130, paid the fee and then deep disappointment set in. Not one food vendor open, and only 1 booth open. No people to be seen. I talked to some of the food trucks and they all said they didn't open until later Tonight. 6 pm ish. That is insane . If you are looking for somewhere to support small business this is NOT the place. Accurate and not false advertising would be beneficial to your community. Very angering and frustrating.
Used to be the last place for families on budgets to visit and enjoy. Now it's like a fair. 5 dollar hot dogs and so much more money to be spent. Can't do it anymore with a large family.
Back then( 10+ yrs ago ) the swapmeet was a good place to go walk around. We tried to go get some Dubai strawberry cups from que se antoja ( so good, and priced ok). Not sure why they charge $2 per person to enter just for this .. like that's all we were going for .
I used to go here a lot, but haven't been in about 15 years. They used to have so much stuff and so many booths with options for kids, home decor, clothing apparel, etc. Now, it's really sad how little they now have to offer. I was impressed with the food and drinks they had though. If I had little kids, it would still be fun for them, especially the rides.
Actual hours are 6pm to 10pm all days. Its empty. Some Vendors are trying but there is a lack of customers. Fading paint and old aging aesthetic is in abundance. $2 to get in is reasonable just do not do it before 6pm or you will be let down. There are only a few garage sale type vendors so if you are looking for treasure this isnt it jack. It sucks coming as a vendor from a different area setting up at the "open" times only to find out nothing actually opens until 6pm. Its to hot and there isnt much shade or misters or anything so nobody shows until the sun is going down. Ground is dirt in vendor areas, there is no fence or gates for security either. It will need major updates before we return. It was empty all weekend that we were setup. Sunday was a ghost even after 6pm. Vendor beware of this place.
