A truly refined dining experience! The atmosphere is polished and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout the evening, thanks to Darnell! Perfect for a special occasion or anyone seeking a high-end, memorable meal. Highly recommended!
We first visited Hawaii in 2024 and had dinner here, and this time we returned with our parents. We ordered different dishes, mine was basic pomodoro pasta, and my husband ordered a duck dish, though I can’t remember the full name. We also ordered some eggplant salad, but unfortunately, there’s no picture of it. The food was so delicious, and the service was pretty good. I totally recommend this place! Hope you enjoy it!
Had the pleasure of dining at Toarmina on a Tuesday evening. Gabe was an absolute pleasure and was very attentive. I ordered a Lilikoi margarita, eggplant caponata, truffle carbonara and the veal chop. The drink was an delicious twist on a traditional margarita. The eggplant caponata was a refreshing appetizer. The carbonara was a tasty truffle and egg sauce with freshly prepared spaghetti but the noodles did have a doughy/flour taste. I enjoy al dente pasta and I enjoyed this dish tremendously. The veal chop was a very generous portion and very tender served sliced with the bone.
My son-in-law made reservations here to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday. I was super happy and impressed with his choice of restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious! My husband and daughter had the salmon entree, my son-in-law ordered the Bolognese, and I had the Insalada with the arugula and orange slices (apologies, as I forgot the name of the salad). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The salmon had crispy skin edges, which my husband and daughter felt were absolutely delicious! If in town again, we would certainly dine here again. Oh, and Gabe, our server was awesome!! His drink and dinner recommendations were spot on! And he followed through on remembering that we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday. He took great care of us the entire evening. He is a wonderful asset to the Taormina Sicilian Cuisine Team!! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. It is truly a fine dining experience, from start to finish!
Taormina has been my favorite restaurant in Waikiki since I first discovered it in 2019. Their Spaghetti Mentaiko is my absolute favorite, it’s my go to pasta especially during lunch. My other favorites are the Bosco salad, Beef Carpaccio, and Vongole (Normally just clams, but you can add spaghetti to it, just ask your server.) Simple, yet exquisite is the best way to explain their food. The food is amazing and so is their service. Since the beginning I’ve had the pleasure of having Gabe as my server for soo many times. Always guides me well whenever I wanted to try something different, very attentive, and very personable.
