I had the beef, chicken, and steak tacos! Absolutely delicious, highly recommend! I’m new to the area and experiencing the foodie culture. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, will definitely be back!
I had the steak tacos here and they were DELICIOUS. Savory and tender. The staff is nice and the service was quick. Would absolutely come back here next time I’m in JC!
I am a visitor from Australia 🇦🇺 🪃 and I wanted to check out the famous Taqueria. Well, I was not disappointed. The place was "pumping," vibrant excellent service - the 🌮 🌮 🌮 tasted great - and a reasonable price! Watching the Tequila drinks made - a great show!!! No wonder it got the award for best restaurant in town. Thank you to the staff that got as a table as soon as possible!
Food here is always a hit, as they are an extension of the sit down restaurant down the street, Taqueria Downtown. Last night when I went, the overall attitude could have been a little better. We had a card decline and the cashier said out loud that it was due to insufficient funds, could have been handled different, maybe could have said do we have another card? It made the person paying for me really uncomfortable for their first time. Overall, drinks are great, you must purchase for take out. You can sit and wait for your order they have very few seats and one or two outside while you wait. Prices are excellent as well!
Always crowded on Saturdays; indoor and outdoor seating. Loud music inside. Good tacos and great value! Cash price is cheaper than if paying with card. All day breakfast entrees come with complimentary Bloody Mary or mimosa. Beef head taco was very good, the lamb taco is very spicy, pork tostada was very good. Margarita is one of the best margaritas we’ve tried. The tortilla chips were very good and the sauce was really tasty.
