I booked for my son’s birthday party yesterday, I looked over their website(on their website it showed I could get the 50 people serving that came with an agua. The bonus for an additional agua or 20 hotdogs. When I placed the order over the phone apparently that wasn’t an option. Either the hotdogs or the water…honestly. For the price of the 50 people package it SHOULD HAD definitely came with an agua Fresca) I was super excited for it. I thought they were going to be real Mexican style tacos, especially for the price I payed for with the catering. The young man who came to cater was great and friendly. The food was literally okay. The beans tasted old, rice was okay, hotdogs seemed like they were boiled instead of properly cooking them and adding them on the bun. The asada was okay, pretty dry, the pollo adobo was very watery with the chicken being very over cooked. The discada was also very watery and superrrr spicy, it was hard to enjoy. The limes looked really old and they barely had juice, the cilantro looked really brown too. The tortillas for the tacos were store bought and not even heated on a comal, they felt microwaveable. Idk maybe we got unlucky and had old-close to expiration food but it definitely wasn’t worth the price.the food was also semi cold and didn’t feel enjoyable. I wouldn’t order again but they definitely need to work on their food if this is the quality they provide their customers.
We had an event for my mother-in-law's birthday. We paid close to $1000 dollars ($822.70) to be exact for 100 people. We could choose 3 meats, 1 being a "special" meat which could only be one without paying extra and 2 more of the regular. We went ahead and went with Asada (special one), Pastor, and Carnitas en Salsa Verde. I sent it via email, I spoke with someone on the phone, yet 3 days before, they called to confirm and didn't have the meat selections, horrible service. Gave it to them a third time. Fast forward to the day of, we pick up our food. We didn't feel like we had to go through and check every single little detail but that was a terrible mistake. They put regular Carnitas, not with salsa verde, which was the whole reason for the carnitas and the one my mother-in-law wanted. I called, they apologize, wanted me to come back and pick up the right one but being one hour away plus one hour back to the event wasn't feasible. I asked to get a call back to speak with the owner, no call back. I sent an email, no response. The food was OK, but the fact that when you spend so much money and they can't get it right or offer any solution apart from "bring it back and we'll give you the right one" is not good customer service. If you do happen to order from here, make sure you check every single little thing before you leave. Also, if they start grabbing stuff and putting it in your car, hold em up until you can check. Horrible overall though, I wouldn't order from here again. Not even a "20% off your next order" or anything to compensate for basically ruining the only food my mother-in-law wanted.
We hired Taquiza Los Pistoleros to cater tacos for our event, and they completely exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, their team was professional, friendly, and incredibly organized. The setup looked amazing, everything ran smoothly, and most importantly- the tacos were absolutely delicious! Our guests are still talking about how flavorful and fresh everything was. Ordered for my daughter's 30th birthday. Food was excellent , they provided everything and more. Would highly recommend for any event. They will be my go to for catered events from now on!! Thank you!!
I just bought 4 asada taco plates, 1 tripitas, 1 buche and 1 al pastor....good, not really wow....rice a little hard and needed some flavor, beans yummy.....horchata the worst thing, I mean if not fresca as in made there and if you're going to use powder or liquid...try using a better one, not trying to be rude...I know it's kind of a hassle to make it from scratch, I do it sometimes, melon drink and lemonade were ok....spicy salsa yummy!! Maybe went on a not so good day, who knows......I might give it another try but just a plate or two....not 7!! 😊😊😊
