I have been using Tax Accounting Adelaide for a number of years but will no longer be doing my returns with this business, and I would urge others to reconsider based on my most recent experience. I specifically booked an appointment with Romeo but was seen by someone else whose role was not explained (assistant? accountant?). It wasn’t who I booked to see, and the session felt rushed with important details skimmed over. I am confident there were deductions relevant to my line of work that were missed or not even raised. The business also appears disorganised. I did not receive an invoice for many weeks, and only when I chased it up did it arrive immediately, suggesting it hadn't been sent in the first place. Communication throughout was poor and unprofessional. When I raised concerns about several oversights, instead of taking responsibility, the manager, Romeo, deflected and tried to place the blame on me. These oversights ultimately cost us thousands of dollars, which could have been avoided with better communication about what documentation was needed. It should not be up to the customer to chase repeatedly for a service they have already paid for. Very disappointing experience overall
