Terra Firma did an excellent job on my front garden, working to a bespoke pattern in a challenging little space that was terrible before they started. They did it in atrocious weather, being fully prepared for that, and left the site spotless after a very efficient day and a quarter. I will certainly use them again.

Luke and Lee plus team did a very professional job on our front and back gardens, replacing patios and imposing order on an unruly space. They were friendly and efficient, taking great care to ensure we were going to be happy with the end result, offering thoughtful and helpful advice throughout. Terra Firma Landscapes under the hands-on direction of Luke Richards, its founder, is exemplary in their focus driven approach to transforming the stalest of gardens into a thing of welcome and beauty. We recently needed to fill in a small disused pond, replace a tired old-fashioned fence and a pergola that had seen better days. As a couple of a certain age, we could not visualise what transformation might look like and felt both uncertain and frustrated. Enter Luke Richards, the most charming, likeable, empathetic and altruistic of people who clearly has the uncanny knack for reading people and situations quickly and communicating with warmth and respect. Luke took charge, produced with speed a design and plan within our budget which we immediately accepted. The teams he sent: Ryan & Jack on tree surgery, George & Egzon on pond conversion, and Sam & Danny on fence and pergola installation are all a credit to Luke and the company he has created. They were efficient, good natured, tidy, perfectionists with a positive attitude. Luke has even offered, out of contract, to pop in to begin retraining my wisteria on the pergola. We wholeheartedly recommend, without reservation, Luke Richards and his team at Terra Firma. We have already asked Luke to produce a plan for redesigning our garden space that accommodates our special circumstances. My partner loves the garden but can no longer manage the jobs that brought him such pleasure. Attached are photos of our fence and pergola and fingers crossed, will share photos of the transformed garden next year.

Having moved into a new house this year, our previous patio was strangely shaped, not square with the house and had a step which made it total dysfunctional. As outdoor people who enjoy hosting, we wanted to make better use of the space for both personal use and party's, so got in contact with Luke, amongst others. We found Luke to be friendly, honest, knowledgeable and presented himself professionally. We felt he was the standout candidate of the three landscapers we invited over to quote. Once we agreed terms, Luke sent in Sasha and Andrey who were punctual, tidy and efficient. They were approachable and communicated well throughout the project, paying attention to detail on things such as the height of the steps, pattern of the tiling and colour of the manhole to cover the drain. The work was carried out within the timescales we were given and we couldn't be happier with the result. Perfect job. I've attached some before/after/during pictures. The job finished mid August 2023. Thank you to Luke, Sasha and Andrey. Fantastic work. We now have a garden space to be really proud of. I'm happy for Luke to share my contact details if anyone wishes to pop over a see the patio in real life. I live in Oxted.
