The space was peaceful, the staff were kind, well versed explanations on their services/ benefits, and the massage itself was exactly what my body needed. Great pressure, great technique. I walked out feeling refreshed and restored. Highly recommend.
The masseuse was very skilled and genuinely worthy of praise. Unfortunately, the experience at the front desk overshadowed her good work. Very disappointed — the business practices felt deceptive and borderline con-like. They offered a “20% first-time discount,” dropping the $84 treatment to about $64. However, they insisted I had to leave a 20% tip and implied that’s the only way the massage therapist gets paid. There was a sign stating this, that was not in direct view and pretty much hidden. After asking more questions, they admitted the therapist receives 30% of the $64/$84 fee. Very tricky wording and presentation. When I confronted the receptionist about these deceptive practices, he repeatedly said he was only doing what the owner requires. I reluctantly agreed to pay the 20% tip, but instead of charging the correct 20% ($12.80), he charged me a flat $20 — essentially adding an additional $7.20 “got-you” fee. When I questioned it, he reluctantly corrected the charge and claimed he thought I meant $20 instead of 20%. Wow. I hate to complain — it’s not part of my nature — but what is going on at this place? I won’t be returning, and I’d recommend others avoid it as well, unless you don’t mind being played and having your good nature taken advantage of.
I paid for a 60-minute massage but received only about 10 minutes of actual massage time. The male therapist kept leaving the room to chat with other staff, do front desk work, and even went outside to smoke during my session. When he returned, he smelled strongly of cigarettes. It was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely ruined the experience. After the massage, they made me soak my feet in rust-colored “detox” water, claiming it showed my body’s toxins. The color comes from the metal electrodes rusting in the saltwater, not from any toxins. I also developed a rash afterward, which suggests the water was unsanitary. The whole place was horrible, with staff yelling about payments and walking in and out of rooms. This business is dishonest, unsafe, and potentially harmful. Avoid at all costs.
I wanted to share my experience at Thai Luxury Reflexology. The place itself is nice and seemed clean, and the staff were professional, but there were a few things that made it hard to fully enjoy. The massage bed was really uncomfortable—the face area is just a hole, and when pressure was applied to my back or shoulders, it pressed down on my throat and made me cough. I also got what felt like rug or towel burn on my face from the friction. I didn’t realize the Thai massage was a dry massage and that you stay fully clothed, so I’d suggest wearing something loose-fitting. On top of that, they tried to upsell me on additional services—even in the middle of my massage—which I didn’t like. Overall, while the space is nice and clean, the uncomfortable bed and constant upselling made it hard to relax, so I’d give it three stars. If I went back, I would make sure to try a different type of massage.
Was greeted immediately upon arrival and even though I booked the head and neck massage, I was given an option for the foot massage. I opted for the foot reflexology. Set up was clean and you can tell they try to give you a true spa experience with the little extra touches. I received the 30 min foot and leg massage. The massage itself was very rhythmic and the environment was very quiet. The light music even made me want to take a nap. Complimentary water was given and I walked out feeling refreshed and relaxed. I was there for a yelp elite event, but next time I’m going back for the neck massage. I glanced at the menu and since there are 30 min options to choose from, I don’t feel like I will be breaking the bank with the reasonable prices.
