Best thai place in pacific beach. Great location by the beach, cozy little place, good portions!
The food is great and the server is very kind and hospitable. Service was a little slow but the restaurant seemed more busy than normal so we didn’t mind. Yummy food and great location in San Diego too!
Unfortunately, we were fooled by the high ratings. The food was below average. The Tom Kha Gai was sweet and even had grapes in it, and the papaya salad had no fish sauce, no garlic, no chili flakes nothing at all. They also have a sign offering a free drink in exchange for a review, which probably explains the high ratings. On the positive side, the service was good and the lady was very kind. Their Thai tea was also nice, just a bit too sweet.
Pretty solid Thai restaurant. Pretty small dining room but the staff was accommodating and made us comfortable. Had the yellow curry with 2 out of 5 spice level. Had some nice mild heat to add to the deep flavor. Sweet and spicy with nice presentation. Pad Thai was average but good if you’re craving it. The Half Chicken was great. Rich flavorful sauce and tender chicken. This was the table favorite. I would come again for sure!
I can’t say enough good things about this place! The food is absolutely incredible – every dish bursts with authentic Thai flavors, and the ingredients taste so fresh. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced, the curries were rich and creamy, and the portions were generous. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. The staff was so friendly, attentive, and quick to accommodate special requests. They made us feel truly welcome from the moment we walked in. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual night out or a special occasion. If you’re in Pacific Beach and love Thai food, this is a must-visit spot. Highly recommend!
