My son went to Amy about 13 years ago. Before coming here haircuts were a complete NIGHTMARE. My son would cry and protest the entire time as the stimulus was too much. Amy was amazing!!! She was so patient and found creative ways to help him through the hair cut. It's now been over a decade since we've gone, but as he gets his hair cut now as as 17 year old it makes me emotional to see him now able to get his hair cut as though it was never an issue. I know it's only possible because of Amy's help. I'm beyond appreciative and give the highest of recommendations!!!
Very sensory-friendly hair salon. Great for people with disabilities or are just sensitive and prefer a gentle hair stylist. Wheelchair accessible too. Amy is excellent with kids and adults!
Tamara was amazing with my son. My son has trouble with haircuts and his sensory input but she did his hair cut so well and fast with him crying and moving around so crazily. I am so glad for the referral to come to this place. And my son loved the trucks that were in the toy area which Tamara even finished up his hair at the toy area just so that he was comfortable and distracted. Above and beyond. Thank you so much
I've taken my son with ASD here about three times and its been a wonderful experience. The only haircut where my son didnt have a meltdown. Amy is phenomenal and will definitely be my son's stylist for years to come. They are booked in advance for weeks and have a small staff, so you might have to call multiple times to schedule an appointment. I can honestly say they are totally worth it.
Amy is amazing at what she does! I always recommend her to my clients , you do have to make reservations it's a MUST! She is usually super booked because of the fantastic job she does, and she's super patient and has a lot of tips and tricks. If your child has trouble sitting for a long time she'll cut his hair standing up, sitting on the bean bag or playing with toys
