I’ve shopped in TAP since the 80’s mostly for decorative and seasonal items. This Christmas my husband shopped there for one of my gifts. Photo below. He was a month out from a major back surgery and still recovering. He asked for a box and gift wrapping but was totally ignored. Not feeling like arguing with anyone he paid for the full retail priced item and left. My gift was given to me in a huge plastic bag. It must have come off display because it was dirty and dusty. They didn’t have the common courtesy to wipe it off. They aren’t known for being the friendliest store in Houston. But honestly my experiences have been mixed. Some employees are friendly and helpful others are less so. However, I’m very disappointed in their treatment of my husband and the condition of my present that they sent him away with. Totally inappropriate. I doubt he will shop there in the future. I may not shop there again myself. If you want to compete in the present online shopping world, the bare minimum is treating people respectfully. This DID NOT happen!
Cute store, but not friendly and welcoming at all! I cannot give more than one star just for decorations. Customer service is everything and they are completely lacking in this space. The items are pricey, and I am prepared to pay, but not with an ungrateful, cold attitude.

Great place to buy gifts! I was surprised to see the selection of clothing, accessories, and home decor. Truly unique pieces. Very cozy atmosphere, and the owners are very sweet
I just found out this store has been in business for 40 years. And I never knew it. This was the most beautiful, wonderful shopping experience I've had. I recommend this place to everyone!!
