Menswear alterations, all good work. Have had multiple alterations and minor hem repairs done with the Art. Small local company, provided great, prompt service each time. Good communication.
She fixed my Quinceañera dress when no one could, fixed the zipper, took the size in, this is the only store i trust after bad experiences in different stores. I also recommended this store to many friends and family and they’ve never had issues with this store! RECOMMEND!!!
Overall solid shop with kind people. They did well on some of my pants and a few other items I’ve asked done before that. But for some reason, they consistently get my shirts too short (been here twice with multiple shirts). All of the ones they’ve done have been far too short and cropped, multiple inches shorter than the agreed hem that we measured in person. You’d think they’d leave more room in case the shirts are too short but they seem to just take off cloth like it’s nothing. If the shirts ran a little longer, you could ask them to shorten it with their two weeks re-do policy but you can’t add fabric back, so I’ve lost three shirts I really liked today & one more last time too. Not sure if I’ll be returning since this seems a pattern. Would give 2.5 stars if I could.
The parking is absolutely horrid. You may be better off parking somewhere other than their parking lot if you want to have an easier time getting out of there. The shop does get a decent amount of business, and it honestly needs to look into moving to a larger location or expanding. It's a small shop, so if there are 3 or 4 people waiting in line, they could easily be hanging out the front door. I wasn't really satisfied with my alterations and the cost, but they did have a sign in the store saying that if you're not happy with the alterations they did, you have about two weeks to bring it back in to them. That is something I considered, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of parking situation and the possibility of a crowded shop. Just not my type of atmosphere.
The woman who assisted me was very kind and straight to the point, the visit was a breeze and I was very comfortable! I had the skirt hemmed and the waist taken in on my bridesmaids dress and it now fits perfectly. The price was great and it was done in half a week!
