Had a great time here. Axe throwing was fun, the music was chill and the bottled beer was cold. My only complaint is it’s pretty pricey for just an hour of throwing axes at wood. Other than that a great time.

We had a group of 20. The staff were so organized, gave clear instructions and very nice. We had a great time and an hour was plenty of time to get in a lot of throws per person. We had 5 people per lane. They had a really cool variety of targets that were projected onto the wood. Super fun. Look forward to going again!

Had a great time! Some of the target boards are a bit worn, but still a worthwhile experience. Didn't realize until the next day that we reserved and paid for two hours, but were told we only had "15 minutes left" at less than an hour. My fault for not paying better attention. Could have easily gone two hours with the group because we were having a great time. Could use better seating options for those not throwing. Hard backless stools were it, since the couch was covered in tools.

We had an incredible team-building event at The Axe Lair in downtown Upland last week, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptionally accommodating, friendly, and full of energy. They made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable, even those of us who had never tried axe throwing before. The instructors were patient and enthusiastic, giving us helpful tips and cheering us on throughout the experience. The atmosphere was upbeat and fun, making it easy to relax and enjoy ourselves. The axe throwing games were a blast—challenging enough to be exciting but still accessible for beginners. We also spent time in the karaoke room, which was a surprise hit! It was a great way to unwind and laugh together after the competition. The space itself is well-designed, clean, and perfect for group events. Whether you're looking for a unique outing with coworkers, friends, or family, The Axe Lair delivers a memorable experience. It’s not just about throwing axes—it’s about bonding, having fun, and trying something new. We left with big smiles and great memories. I’m already looking forward to going back!

Had the absolute best time here! We did the “try everything” package for an hour which was an axe, knife and shovel. The employees are super helpful and provide a demo before you start but I loved the fact that there’s different “games” to play on the projector. They also have a rage room and karaoke room available. They are located in downtown upland so parking can be a pain but it’s free so I’m not complaining. They sell drinks and chips on site but you can bring in your own food (not drinks!). Would absolutely come again especially for the price. Really enjoyed the vibes, bring your friend group or family
