Caroline has been going to BLDHTX since we adopted her back in May 2025, and I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! When she first started, she was very shy and scared of people she didn’t know. The staff was unbelievably patient, gentle, and loving with her, and now she runs into daycare with excitement and joy. She has blossomed into such a happy, social pup thanks to the supportive environment they’ve created. Every day at BLDHTX is special. They plan the cutest and most thoughtful activities—storytime, themed photoshoots, bubble parties, special treats, and so much more. The staff captures the sweetest pictures that we’ll treasure forever, and they make every pup feel like a star. It’s clear they put their heart into making daycare not just fun, but enriching and safe. When Caroline boarded for almost a month, I was blown away by the care and attention she received. I got daily pictures and updates that showed she was truly happy. There are no crates—instead, the pups get to sleep on comfy beds with the amazing staff who stay overnight. Knowing Caroline was cared for like family gave me complete peace of mind. One of the highlights of her time here was her birthday. Kerry and her phenomenal team went above and beyond to throw the most incredible Labubu-themed party. They handled everything—decorations, treats, photos, and love. It was beyond what I ever imagined, and it showed how much they care about celebrating each furry baby’s milestones. What makes BLDHTX truly stand out is the staff’s dedication. They know every dog by name, personality, and quirks, and treat each one as if they were their own. Caroline adores them, and I can see how deeply loved and cared for she is every single time she goes. BLDHTX isn’t just a daycare or a boarding place—it’s a second family. Kerry and her team are extraordinary, and the love, effort, and passion they pour into their work is unmatched. I feel so grateful that Caroline has a safe, happy, and loving place to grow, play, and be celebrated. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

As someone who was new to boarding, I chose BLDHTX to be my Osito’s home while I was on vacation due to the informative and welcoming care I received from the staff during my tour. A big reason too was: pups are not crated, they’re free to roam around under supervision of the staff. Osito has never been a fan of a crate, so this was a huge WIN! I liked seeing the facilities for myself and seeing where Osito would be playing and sleeping. I received daily pictures of Osito while I was away, and called for updates which were given assuring me he was having fun. Osito also participates in daycare and he loves it! He knows when he’s “going to go see his friends” and without a doubt, I know if he could talk, he’d tell me all about his fun adventures. When we reach BLDHTX in the mornings, his tail is wagging and that reassures me he’s comfortable and having fun. Plus I love how the staff knows us by now :) The staff is always very welcoming and friendly. I also love BLDHTX social media presence. I like checking in and seeing all the pups play. They also have themed photo days or treats, which I don’t mind paying the extra fee. Osito deserves to participate and have some extra fun ☺️ If you’re looking for a place for your pup to play or be boarded, I recommend BLDHTX!

Every team member is not only warm and welcoming, but also highly trained and attentive, giving you complete peace of mind that your pup is in the very best hands. What makes this place so special is that the dogs are never placed in kennels. Instead, they get to enjoy a full day of engaging activities designed to keep them happy, healthy, and social. Whether it’s playtime, enrichment exercises, or just lots of snuggles and belly rubs, the staff makes sure every dog feels loved and included. You can really see how much joy the dogs have running, playing, and bonding with each other—and it’s all because of the dedication and passion of the people who run this amazing place. If you want your dog to spend their day surrounded by care, fun, and affection, The Best Little Dog House in Texas is absolutely the place to be.

I have left my dogs in boarding with BLDHTX for years. I started taking my dogs there when the business was on West Grey. I highly recommend their services because I feel comfortable leaving my dogs in their care. BLDHTX also helped with my younger dog. She was kind of wild when I got her, so I took her to daycare to help socialize her. They were great with her then, and they are great with her now. I absolutely love the pictures that they post of my dogs while they are boarded. You can see that my dogs are happy.
