The owners and crew are so absolutely amazing. Our dog Max loves going there. Jumps out of my truck and straight to Tim . Has a great time the days he goes there. They are always so accommodating making sure he is taken care of.

We have been using The Big Backyard since 2011. They are nothing but courteous, professional, and love dogs. And when our oldest dog Olive passed away, they were so kind and caring and thoughtful. They presented us with a beautiful card and pictures that were taken over the years at the daycare. it’s just like they’re an extension of our family. I cannot thank them enough for all the care they provide our animals. Thank you so much for everything you and your staff do. PS if you’re looking for a good doggy daycare, this is the absolute place to bring your animals

My dogs been going to big backyard for years for daycare. He absolutely loves it. He goes barreling inside every morning and I have to drag him out the door. Tracy, Micah, Tim, and the whole big backyard team are so great and clearly love the dogs. Every dog is greeted by name as they arrive. I’m not sure what I’d do without them!

The Big Backyard is THE BEST! If you’re looking for a place for your dog to hang out with other pups in a safe, secure, nurturing, and loving environment, then the Big Backyard is the place for your pup. The owners, Tracy and Micah, have been in business for over 24 years and truly treat every dog they care for as if they were their own pup. Our pup, Skout, had Tracy as a trainer when he was just a wee pup, and she is one of the most gentle, insightful, and in-tune trainers out there when it comes to understanding what's going on with a dog and training them. Since that time, Skout has been going to doggy daycare two days a week and has stayed for boarding. Every morning at drop-off, he can’t wait to get in the door to see his pup buddies and hang out with them for the day. He gets to be a “dog” under the care and supervision of a staff that not only adheres to Colorado state regulations but also truly loves and cares for these dogs in a way that is more than appropriate. Lastly, true to the commitment of their work, Tracy is a member of the advisory board of the Pet Animal Care Facilities advisory board, which is a branch of the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

I have used the doggie day care and boarding services at The Big Backyard since 2000 when I got my first Westie pup, Duffy. Over the last 24 years, I have had eight different dogs of 3 different breeds enrolled at The Big Backyard. The founders and active hands-on owners, Micah and Tracey, are knowledgeable, well educated in canine behavior and health issues, and very caring. The staff members at The Big Backyard are all well trained and obvious dog lovers. Everyone is vigilant to make sure that the dogs under their care are always under their personal observation and that the facilities are always clean. Several key members, including my favorite person, Tim, been there for years, which speaks highly of management. The owners and their staff have celebrated my new puppies and mourned the passing of my senior dogs. This place feels like family. I would not trust any other place with my cherished dogs. 💕🐾🐾💕
