Great times. Thank you so much. Off the grid. The event and food was amazing. If you are looking for an event space this large. This is your place!!!!! Thank you OVM!!!!
I photographed a wedding here this past summer, absolutely love the space and highly recommend. Very fun spot for a more industrial vibe, beautiful lighting and an open environment. The ties to San Francisco history are just a plus!
If you like public works projects, you're going to love this trail. Walking below the McArthur maze, one of the largest interchanges in the country is truly fascinating visually. The ebmud sanitation facility has informative placards explaining the complex process of waste management. And then finally, the trail extends up to the Bay Bridge east span with one of the most spectacular views of the bay. It's a very different type of park, but one of the most unique you'll find in the bay area.
The Bridgeyard, is a 24,000-square foot, 1930s-era industrial building that has been beautifully restored. This location was once used as a train shed for the Key System Railway until the railway across the Bay Bridge was abandoned in 1950. The building, located in Oakland at the foot of the East Span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge is owned by Caltrans. The building at 210 Burma Road in West Oakland is part of the future Gateway Park in the East Bay Regional Park District. The shoreline park has planned beaches, meadows, convenient access to the Bay Bridge Trail, and expansive views of the Bay. I love the exhibits on the bridge’s construction. There is a lovely amphitheater in front. I can see many cool events here in the future.
Gran punto de partida para correr, caminar o andar en bicicleta por el Bay Bridge. Un estacionamiento grande y amplio, fácil de llegar. Sería bueno contar con baños con inodoros que funcionen bien, pero no soy exigente.
