I’ve been a member at The Camp for 2 years and the level of fitness one can achieve is astounding. If you’re looking for a place that can help you get your health & workouts to the next level, this is the place to be. The trainers look out for all members and it feels like a community where everyone is supportive.
An "amazing gym" great equipment ,supportive/knowledgeable coaches, a strong community vibe, cleanliness, and real results like weight loss or increased strength, offer supplement discounts, promotions & incentives on specific trainers coaching you throughout every class you show up to achieve effective work out that will most definitely challenge your body, offer meal plans and their staff is amazing & passionate for making sure to challenge your body & motivate you to achieve personal goals, making you feel capable and excited to go. I highly recommend The Camp Transformation workouts are amazing and different all the time. ❤️
This is what one year at The Camp West Chula Vista did for me. NO Fad diets, just learning about healthy eating and how to maintain it. NO appetite suppressants or other pills. NO working out every day for 90 minutes, just consistent good exercise. The trainers here worked with my “old body” ( I am 57) and my issues (arthritis in my knees, shoulder injury, bad back), and I always felt understood with NO Judgement. I LOVE this gym, and the people here!!!
I’ve been a member at The Camp Transformation Center West Chula Vista since 2019, and I honestly don’t see myself going anywhere else. I absolutely love it here! All the trainers are so kind, supportive, and truly want you to succeed. Huge shoutout to Karina, my favorite—she is always so encouraging and motivating. The owner, Dom, is incredibly nice too! The Camp truly feels like a family. I’ve done a couple of their member challenges over the years, and within this year alone I’ve lost 20 pounds—I’m so proud of myself, and I’m so grateful that The Camp has been part of my fitness journey. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel welcomed, supported, and pushed to be your best, this is the place to be! Highly recommend. 💪
Just completed my first 6 week challenge successfully and here’s how my experience went: 1:1 Coaching w Karina- You’ve gotta be honest with yourself and her during the check ins. She does a great job at providing workarounds to meet goals and is supportive as long as you give her the full picture. Meal plan: Easy & self-explanatory. I found it easiest to stick to alternating the same two meals & that helped keep me on track. Karina had good suggestions on meal recommendations. Classes/exercise: Love the flexibility of the class schedules & attend 3 times in a row, one rest day. I came in with some knowledge of some of the workouts but felt more comfortable as the challenge progressed. Not all the coaches check for form/check in so I found it helpful to flag a coach down if I wasn’t 100% sure on my form to avoid any injury or back pain. Larry’s classes are the most challenging but all coaches provide strong & inspiring classes. My favorite part of attending is that everyone comes in with 110% effort & it’s motivating/inspiring. I would recommend this for people like myself who need accountability & support in reaching weight loss goals. No one can do the work for you, but The Camp does a great job at setting you up for success.
