When searching for the perfect place to host my sister’s celebration of life, my dearest friend Brian referred me to The Columns. Before walking in for my initial meeting, I worried about how I would navigate the heavy moments that would inevitably arise—both during the planning process and on the day itself. From the moment I met Miriam, those worries eased. Her presence was grounding, and I immediately knew that no matter what came up, she would be there with me every step of the way. On the day of the event, everything was thoughtfully prepared, allowing me to bring in years of memories to share with loved ones near and far. Miriam, Jake, and the entire team set the tone for an evening of reflection and connection. Through countless thoughtful touches that only a genuinely caring person could offer, the experience was nothing short of stunning. The team was brilliant, supportive, and full of grace and kindness. Jake—Miriam’s other half—felt more like a longtime friend than a business owner. Every single moment of our celebration was made more meaningful by their careful planning and deep dedication to honoring both our loss and our love. There is truly no better place. It was perfect.
The Columns was the perfect setting for my important birthday! A creative space allowed us to shine with creativity -friendships -and celebration. The staff was helpful-the location added zest to our party-the setting was just perfect. So glad that we decided to have my significant birthday at the Columns --my guest were as happy as I was with everything!
I recently catered at The Columns for an event and loved everything about it. The location was convenient and easy to find, and the parking was plentiful and well‑marked. The ambiance was elegant yet comfortable, and the decor added a perfect touch of style. The staff were friendly, attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. I would definitely recommend this event venue for any celebration. The owner, Miriam, was the host and was absolutely wonderful to work with—very communicative and able to answer all questions to help us get set up and facilitate and I imagine she is just as great with clients. We can’t wait to work here again!
The Columns was a fantastic venue for our wedding ceremony and reception! The space and lighting was perfect, the view from the rooftop balcony overlooking Findlay Market was stunning, and the location was ideal. We loved it as a intimate venue for our smaller private ceremony, and it had all the space and amenities we needed for the larger reception/party later that evening. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved the venue too, which made the whole experience just that much more gratifying! Miriam, Jake, and their whole staff couldn't have been more of a joy to work with, and we would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue, whether it was just for the ceremony, the reception, or everything!
The Columns offered an exceptional party venue that set the tone for an unforgettable evening, with its elegant decor and carefully curated ambiance transported all attendees into a special atmosphere. Miriam and her team are great to work with! Very accommodating, made the night easy!
