We visited the Crystal Maze Manchester last night as a group of eight friends and had a genuinely excellent experience from start to finish. The welcome was friendly and upbeat, and even the health and safety briefing was delivered in a fun, positive way that immediately set the tone for the evening. Our Maze Master, Daniel Danger, was absolutely brilliant. He stayed fully in character, kept the energy high throughout, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The constant running between zones added to the excitement and really made it feel immersive. We completed 16 games and managed to collect 12 crystals. Every challenge was enjoyable, with a good mix of physical, mental and skill-based games. Nothing felt repetitive, and everyone in the group had moments where they could shine. The Crystal Dome at the end was a highlight. Jumping around trying to grab the tickets was chaotic, hilarious and great fun, and a perfect way to finish the experience. Overall, we had an absolute blast. Everyone came away with their own favourite moments and challenges they loved most. We are all really glad we went and would highly recommend the Crystal Maze Manchester to anyone looking for a fun group activity. It was a fantastic night out and one we would happily do again.
What a day!! We were looking for somewhere to host our company's 25th anniversary celebration. We needed somewhere with a conference room and team building activities, a colleague suggested Crystal Maze as they had been before. From start to finish the whole experience was incredible. Helena in Sales was so helpful and made the booking experience so positive. We had a team of 70 people attend the event and the whole day was fantastic. The 'conference room' was stunning, the perfect setting to celebrate our anniversary and host the team for the day. The maze masters were another level, they brought so much enthusiasm and energy to the maze ensuring all of our team were involved and had the best time. The food was delicious, 3 hot food options, vegetarian and allergies were also catered for. Overall, I can't recommend this more for any type of corporate team building event. We have received nothing but amazing feedback from our whole team, including those who this pushed out of their comfort zone. Personally, I am already planning a return visit with family and friends for next year! Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable and enjoyable experience!
Having been a massive fan of The Crystal Maze since childhood, I was thrilled that I finally got the chance to go with my mates to Manchester for the experience. The Medieval, Industrial, Aztec and Futuristic Zones are all great recreations of the original realms on TV, with the physical, skill, mental and mystery games all being challenging and great fun. Like the original series, you go around the entire experience in teams (in our case, it was 6), trying to win crystals and win time for The Crystal Dome at the end. Each game along the way has an average time of two minutes to complete, and there are occasional automatic lock-ins. However, if a team member gets locked in, you immediately forfeit a Crystal. No one gets left behind. The staff were all really friendly and professional, and before the game got underway, they consulted with all of us about any health issue/conditions (which I really appreciated given my epilepsy). The experience was made even more rewarding knowing that valued health & safety and accommodated accordingly. A big shout-out as well to our guide, Dingo Dave! He was a great character and the perfect host for our experience! Finally, there’s a great cafe there, and some good souvenirs (like crystals) and photos to purchase as well afterwards. Overall, The Crystal Maze Experience in Manchester was a fantastic day out and vital for both fans of the TV show and those just looking for a fun activity! Thank you very much! Would love to come back again!
Had an absolutely fantastic experience with the whole family! They have some of the games we watched growing up and some newer ones. Our host was encouraging and funny and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I was able to buy the tickets online, and was tempted to buy them many days in advance but glad we didn’t. Because we went on a weekday, they were cheaper to buy in the morning and had many open slots. I would highly recommend. Our group had a couple of seniors and they were offered easier access into the maze for the different sections.
Will you start the fans please Wanted something to do on our 10th year wedding anniversary As we both grew up watching this, we decided to give it a shot We were not disappointed It’s a tiny place from the outside so I wasn’t too sure what awaited us I would say it’s kinda on the pricey side, however it’s worth every penny. They also don’t charge that much for photos at the end. There are quite a few souvenirs you can purchase as well We were greeted by the receptionist, which was a really nice bloke. We found out we were just going into the game with only two of us. Which made things even better as we didn’t have to share the experience with strangers and I think doing that would’ve made the whole experience a bit awkward. SO TOP MARKS for this ! The woman who took us in and explained the rules beforehand was really nice. Put a lot of effort in to get us hyped up and in the mood. We were greeted by our game host Holly Day. Awesome is the only way to describe her. This is exactly like the TV show. We also did a few games off the show. We visited all four zones and collected nine crystals. The place is massive. Had no idea where they put it all! We collected 106 tokens in the dome. I would’ve liked to had recording of us inside the dome also I think a nice touch would be if you collected a certain amount of tokens you can get some free souvenirs or discounts off the souvenirs This place is a must visit for anyone who’s watched the show. This place is 10/10 can’t fault it Keep up the excellent work, guys
