Nothing but positive things to share about their 4 week training program. As soon as our eval starter, it was clear that Debbie and Justin understood our rescue dog Sally. They sat with us and talked through her challenges and strengths, assuring us that they would tailor her training specifically to her reactivity to other dogs. We left feeling hope for the first time since taking her home from the shelter two months prior. Throughout the 4 weeks they gave updates on her progress and shared pictures of Sally’s training (or just being cute)! Graduation day, we met an entirely new dog. A sense of calm and confidence had developed with her training and we spent over 2 hours with Justin going over everything she had learned. They also include free in home follow up trainings, and 3 days later we worked with Justin again on applying the training atmosphere into our home. While entirely new in her composure, just like they assure you when you begin training, Sally has not lost one bit of personality or the energy and spunk we love! We can’t thank the team for making this a truly worthwhile investment and look forward to continuing our training journey!
Our doodle was overly excited when we welcomed our baby girl to the family in the fall. The Dog Knowledge was able to get our pup into a training class quickly, and Debbie and Dennis ensured us from the evaluation that she would learn the skills and commands to safely be in our home. I’m so happy to say that they were absolutely right. Our dog is home and so well behaved. We couldn’t say enough great things about The Dog Knowledge and the peace they have provided for our family!
We sent our 6 month old Australian Labradoodle to be trained and boy did we get lucky! We were extremely nervous to leave him and missed him greatly for those 4 weeks, but WOW. He's calm, attentive, knows commands...yet was still his loving, sweet, energetic self. He went back for boarding about 2 weeks later, and they let him join in more training classes. Then we had an in-home followup which was awesome! I cannot say enough good things about his trainer, Becky. He was SOOOOO excited to see her. We got more tips and training tricks specific to our home and family life. You can tell from the minute you walk into the facility that the dogs are the top priority. Highly recommend Dog Knowledge.
We are so, so happy we chose The Dog Knowledge for training! Our golden retriever completed the 4 week course at 5 months old and it has made a huge difference. Walks have become enjoyable, not stressful! The work all of the trainers put in is evident and I would highly recommend them to anyone. A special shout out to Becky who helped us understand how to best work with our puppy during the graduation and the in-home follow up. She was patient with all of our questions and we can tell she wants our puppy to be the best boy he can be!
HIGHLY recommend this training facility!! Walt spent 4 weeks learning how to become a therapy dog and just passed his certification today. Huge shoutout to the amazing trainers here that put in the hard work, especially Dennis! They are very knowledgeable in everything they’ve taught your dog, and they are happy to teach you how to be the best handler. If you are willing to put in the work after your dog’s training, you will not regret taking your dog here😊
