We sent our 7-month-old puppy, Pippa, to The Dog Wizard for their 3-week program and the transformation was incredible. She came home with real manners, so much more confidence, and the ability to be reliably off-leash — something we never imagined a dog of hours could do! They don’t just train the dog… they train the humans too! They taught us how to communicate with her, how to reinforce what she learned, and how not to accidentally undo all the foundational work. If you’re on the fence, do it. The Dog Wizard gave us the tools and training we needed, and Pippa is truly an amazing dog because of them.

The Charlotte Dog Wizard is absolutely amazing! They did an incredible job helping train our dog, Ollie, and worked wonders with his anxiety. The difference in his confidence and behavior has been night and day. He’s calmer, happier, and so much easier to handle at home and out in public. We were also really impressed with the time he spent at their farm. It gave him space to relax, learn, and build confidence in a comfortable, structured environment. The trainers truly care and treat every dog like their own. On top of that, my daughter interned there over the summer, and it was an incredibly positive experience for her. She learned so much about dog behavior, training, and responsibility, and came away with a real appreciation for the work they do. I can’t thank the Charlotte Dog Wizard team enough. They went above and beyond for both Ollie and our family. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for real, lasting results and a team that truly loves what they do!

If I could give Dog Wizard 1000 stars I would. They are truly the most compassionate business. My sweet baby girl Koda did their 3 week board and train for dog reactivity and leash pulling. They posted weekly pictures/videos of her, and she had the time of her life! She came home a whole new dog in terms of training; I couldn’t thank them enough! As an emergency veterinarian, I will be recommending them to every client I know :) thank you again to Dog Wizard for your amazing service and empathetic attitude towards our fur babies.

We participated in the Freedom program and did our training sessions with Kiki, who did the most amazing job! We have a 3 year old pittie (f) and a 2 year old husky mix (m) who did a full 180 in their behavior. Kiki is a wealth of knowledge and has gone above and beyond in the care of our fur babies. Especially with our stubborn little princess Pit bull Cheech, whose progress has been tremendous. I cannot recommend the dog wizard, and Kiki enough!

We LOVE The dog wizard. Our pups have been going there since 2022 when we got our first dog now we got 5. We’ve done training, boarding, field days, enrichment camps etc. The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable, they always have tips on how to handle different situations with your pup; not only they get trained but also get highly socialized with other dogs, which we appreciate since we got two dogs that are a large/dominant breed. We always get compliments on how well our dogs behave. We are very grateful to have them. Highly recommended!!
