Mikayla, Mei, and Sheena were absolutely amazing in helping alter my two bridal gowns, both of which required extensive work. One gown, in particular, needed very urgent and complicated alterations, and they handled it with such professionalism, care, and skill. They responded to my concerns quickly and were incredibly attentive throughout the process, always making sure I felt heard and reassured. Thanks to their dedication and expertise, both gowns fit beautifully, and I now feel confident and beautiful on my gowns. I am so grateful for the effort, patience, and genuine care they put into their work. They truly went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for expert bridal alterations.
I had a great experience with The Fitting Room on Edward for my bridal dress alterations. I was only in Brisbane for a short time, and they managed to finish all alterations within just two weeks. We noticed at my first dress fitting that the bodice had been taken in a little too much, but the team handled it so professionally. They were able to fix it perfectly within a few days giving me complete peace of mind. Mikayla was absolutely amazing to work with. I had major alterations done to my dress for a black-tie wedding, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the result. The tailoring was absolutely flawless — it fit me like a glove. Simone was amazing to deal with — so friendly, professional, and incredibly skilled. The whole team was welcoming and made the process easy from start to finish, with timing and scheduling that were spot on. I’m so grateful for their care and expertise — I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
I’ve used the fitting room a couple of times and have always had great results. Most recently, I needed the sleeves taken up on a denim jacket with a complex pattern. They were able to make it fit perfectly while not breaking the pattern (pic attached). I genuinely have no idea how they managed to do this. Sure, they’re pricey but you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t trust anywhere else when looking to make alterations to expensive, special or designer clothes.
Absolutely brilliant service! I walked in with no pre- booked appointment to have a dress altered for an upcoming wedding. Nothing was too difficult for them. The adjustments were perfect and I am so happy with the result. Would highly recommend!
