We brought in The Fluted Mushroom to cater our Thanksgiving Luncheon, to absolutely RAVE reviews from our team! The food was excellent, the setup (see photos) was absolutely beautiful, and the two staff who worked the event were lovely. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for catering in the Pittsburgh area.
Excellent food & service from the team at The Fluted Mushroom. We ordered boxed lunches for our office and were very pleased with the options included in the boxed lunch. We will be ordering from The Fluted Mushroom again!
Fluted Mushroom’s Chef’s Choice business lunch was a total win for our team this week! The spread offered a great mix of vibrant, Mediterranean-inspired dishes that everyone genuinely enjoyed. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly curated, this meal delivered on every level. Parker, and his team, were a dream to work with and the most helpful partners throughout the entire process. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, elevated lunch option. Fluted Mushroom never misses!
Working with the Fluted Mushroom (Parker, specifically) to plan our wedding reception was fabulous, so personable and really went above and beyond. He helped us find venues we wouldn't have found on our own, talked through what we were looking for and what we needed and then set up tours or put us in contact with property managers to set up tours - responses I got from property managers indicated they like working with the Fluted Mushroom, too! Flexible with menu preparation and very willing to work with us to make our wedding reception unique and suited to our tastes! Looking forward to working with them again!
They served my wedding guests raw chicken. We hired The Fluted Mushroom to cater our wedding as we had heard good things about them in the past. However, during the dinner service several guests were served and consumed raw chicken. The owner refused to accept responsibility claiming there was an 'Oven Malfunction' and demanded payment for our remaining balance, in full, on the spot during the reception. Thankfully, venue security stepped in and asked them to leave us alone. Two days later while my wife and I were on our honeymoon The Fluted Mushroom attempted to charge my mother-in-laws card for the remaining balance without authorization. Their bar service was excellent, however, we recommend you avoid this company.
