We had an amazing wedding reception here. A perfect venue for our party - beautifully dressed and a lovely feel/atmosphere. It worked brilliantly for the bands, with an outside space blessed by good weather for our catering (there’s also an inside catering space..) Everyone had a lovely time and commented on how beautiful it was as a venue. It’s a perfect neutral canvas for adding any other touches for your wedding, or just lovely left as it is! More than anything, Buffy was AMAZING from day one of planning the reception. A total dream to work with and always positive and clearly enjoys doing what she does! It was complicated for us with having our ceremony elsewhere, with some tricky timings to manage etc, but she was totally on it and went above and beyond to make it run well. On the night, the bands, catering, cake, florists (all very local) slotted in seamlessly thanks to top notch organisation and communication. The bar staff were brilliant and efficient too. Thank you so much for taking the stress out of it and for helping us create amazing memories! 100% recommended. Tristan and Hannah 1/8/25
I’ve had the pleasure of capturing three weddings at The Forge, and I can confidently say it’s the perfect space for couples seeking a more intimate wedding in Bristol. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to accommodate every couple, regardless of their wedding style or guest list size. The natural light that floods the venue is absolutely stunning, creating a beautiful atmosphere that enhances every moment of the celebrations. I feel truly grateful to be a recommended photographer at The Forge, and I’m excited to capture more unforgettable weddings there this year and beyond. If you’re looking for a charming venue with a warm, inviting vibe, The Forge should be at the top of your list!
We celebrated our wedding here and it was everything what we hoped for, and then some! Of course, the venue is gorgeous and has so much ambiance. But what is a great venue without an amazing venue manager? Buffy has been absolutely brilliant in helping us organising our day in quite a short period of time. She was super helpful, fast in responding to all the silly questions we had, and made sure our day ran super smoothly. We can’t thank her enough!
Craig and I had our wedding reception here about a week ago and we are still on cloud 9! The venue is stunning and Buffy dressed it beautifully. She helped up plan each detail of our day carefully and made sure it was executed! Definitely would recommend for a more intimate but extremely fun wedding!
From the moment we walked into the Forge we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding celebration - thank you to Silkie and the team for making it the most enjoyable and special day, it ran without a hitch and felt like the dream space for an intimate family wedding. Wonderful staff, drinks selection, relaxed planning sessions, the ability to make the space your own whilst also leaning on the teams expert advice, interiors and the view! Perfect!
