Beyond safety and hygiene standards, which this hotel met during my stay, what could matter more than bed quality and temperature control. Nothing like a lumpy bed with coils springing with every movement to make for a restless night. And there is NO AIR CONDITIONING! Check in staff was polite, hence 4-stars on service, but how important is that in reality? Will it do in a pinch- sure. Would I choose to stay here again?- nope!

Absolutely lovely stay. The hotel was cozy, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax. Hospitality was outstanding, especially Ossie at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful, warm, and welcoming throughout the stay. Everything felt thoughtfully done, and the overall experience was genuinely perfect.

We had a wonderful stay! The building is very fun, the location is convenient for the downtown area, so much is within walking distance. We got a lot of help from Ossie at the front desk, who was amazing! Ossie helped us book an extra room last minute, held onto our bags after checkout, and spent lots of time answering our questions and helping guide us through our stay. Fantastic stay!

Great location. Service was solid. Nothing extra, friendly, but nothing stood out about the service. The room was nice, except that there is no a/c. And I know what you're going to say, you don't need it in SF. Well... When it is incredibly warm outside... It is nice to come into a space with air conditioning. Just saying. And I will say that being able to open a window in a hotel room is refreshing, it was quite loud because the adjacent building's air condition units across from us. Irony.

Amazing place to stay. The staff was very friendly. We were able to check in a little early and even upgraded to a larger suite at no additional charge. Also they held our luggage while we waited and the day of check out before we left to the airport to return home. The stay included a great continental breakfast. The location is next to the Union Square next to many shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again when we visit San Francisco again. We highly recommend it and the price was perfect.
