Dr. Almandarez has both amazing skill in pinpointing and patient care! I struggle with issues caused by hypermobility and age takes her time asking questions to better understand my discomfort and not only addresses my issues, but does her research and provides incredibly helpful tips and guidance to alleviate symptoms. I never feel rushed and appreciate all that she’s done to help me feel better!
I moved back to Lubbock a week and a half ago and my first adjustment since moving back was the worst one I’ve ever had. Not attempting to be accusatory or point fingers, that is not the intent of this, but I also am not going to sugarcoat anything about what occurred because it’s the truth & it is what happened. I had an adjustment with Dr. Evan Bandy a couple days ago, and in the moment everything was good and I felt normal the rest of the day when it happened this past Sunday. The next morning I woke up in crippling pain and could not walk or bend over or use my hips or lumbar without excruciating pain and without my muscles locking up, and that proceeded into the next couple of days. I couldn’t put my clothes on, there was no position that brought relief, and my quality of life has gone down significantly since my adjustment with Dr. Bandy. Dr. Bandy got back to me a couple times when I’d called seeking clarification and advice on the intense lumbar/hip pain I’ve been experiencing since seeing him - but there wasn’t a moment he knew why or what was happening with me, and I never truly felt heard. Very often I would get talked over and it felt more like he wasn’t about what I was saying, it was more about being ready with a retort that it wasn’t his fault. I needed so much help that I almost went to the ER, but I’m so glad today I decided to go into the other location on 114th St. Dr. Feher saved my back and brought me so much relief while also being attentive, compassionate, and educational. I can’t remember the front desk, ladies name, but she is amazing! I will definitely be going back to that location. What Feher deduced is that my sacrum was scrunched up into my lower back after the adjustment, causing immense pain and little range of motion that I was so close to canceling my membership with The Joint, but the experience with Feher changed my perspective on the company and I plan to stay unless more moments or adjustments happen like the one that messed me up. I’m so glad I haven’t started my new healthcare job yet otherwise I would’ve lost my job from not haven’t been able to work or use my body. So glad to be feeling better!
Doctor Evan Bandy is absolutely amazing . I literally couldn’t walk going in. I have been suffering with migraines and back pain for a while and I walked WALKED out of there feeling like a new person and haven’t had to use my migraine meds since my adjustment. He was very thorough and listened to everything I had to say. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Thank you so much Bandy you are heaven sent .
The girl at the front desk, Felicia, is always so pleasant and helpful. She always answers my many questions with knowledge and patience! Dr. Angelee is amazing. I’ve seen 4 doctors there and they have all done a great job. Dr. Angelee was able to pinpoint some problem areas and I left feeling so much better. She always remembers what we talked about last time and where I’m having trouble. She is really talented and I’m so glad I tried chiropractics! I have never believed that much in it and took the chance last month to try it. I cannot tell you how in the last 10 years I have not had the mobility I have after only 5 visits! I’m impressed, addicted and look forward to my appt weekly bc I know I’m going to feel better when I leave.
I can’t express enough how great this place is. The docs in this place rock the front desk ladies are sweet everyone knows my little girl and give her stickers. I always leave feeling better. I have seen a big difference since I have been in their wellness plan. The hours are awesome they are open late and on weekends which is very convenient for my work schedule. I would not be able to have as good of chiropractic care if it wasn’t for the joint. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
