I went here as a student and had the best connection with every teacher there. Sarah really has put her all into this studio and her staffing. If you ever consider taking your child here this is definitely the right spot. I had a hard time in high school making friends and I met so many cool kids who accepted me as their friend. I am now moved away but think about Sarah, Edgar, and Adam (if they all still work there) every day and wish the absolute best for them and the studio. Not only did I improve art wise but socially and mentally I felt at home there. I can never thank Sarah and her team enough for making my worst years of my life the best ones. I have graduated and living my best life and think about her impact on my life quite often years later :)

My daughter has been taking the Sunday art class and absolutely loves it! Her drawing skills have significantly improved with the instruction and guidance of her awesome teachers Adam, Lindsay, and Sarah. We highly recommend King Art Studio!

WOW, I spent weeks searching for the 'right' art class for my 10-year old Granddaughter. Sarah King responded immediately and answered all my questions, on multiple emails. I 'felt' this was the 'right' learning environment. After her first class with Edgar, Bel was so excited and eager to continue. Edgar spent time with her explaining 'how to' draw... sounds basic, but as it turns out, isn't. Her dog portrait was pretty good for first try. After second class with Sarah, Bel told me, "Nana, I love art class, can I go every day?" Well, her next chosen project is a portrait of her and her Mom and so far, looks amazing. Sarah King has a truly nurturing and nourishing energy and it is palpable in the studio, other students, and other teachers, who share that they started with Sarah as children. After Bel's second class she drew a picture of her at softball, from her phone. Annabel and Nana are so very grateful for the gift of King Art Studio.

Was always jealous of people who could draw but my skill level was so low that I had no idea where to start. Decided to try the adult art class with Adam. He made me feel completely at ease and never ashamed, meeting me at my level from day one. The picture of the cube was the first thing I did at my first lesson just to demonstrate my starting ability level. Picture of the sphere was from my 6th lesson. I know I still have a lot to learn but it’s so cool to see my progress. Can’t wait to see how I’ll improve going forward!

Our youngest loves art and was showing an early talent and skill that we felt could not be nurtured just at their regular school. We are so happy to have found The King Art Studio. Sara and her instructors are warm and friendly and have great patience for all of their students. Their customer service is top quality and we really feel a wonderful sense of community from everyone there. We have been very impressed with the skillset that our child is developing. If you are looking for your child (or even yourself) to gain a stronger foundation of fundamental techniques in art, this is the place to go!
