Fantastic venue, with catering by Andiamo. There is a fantastic auditorium, great pre function space. The views are wonderful, and an easy People Mover ride, if you want to park for $5 by the Leeland Hotel... 10 minute walk. The roof top views should not be missed. Comfortable for groups up to 150, possibly more. This was a corporate event for the holidays.
The Madison Loft + Auditorium is an exceptional venue, perfectly suited for weddings, conferences, and events accommodating up to 120 guests. Key features include an open-air rooftop with excellent views of Comerica Park, a well-equipped auditorium with ample seating, and reliable on-site audio/visual integration for presentations and music. Facilities, including restrooms, are impeccably clean, and the venue is fully ADA accessible. The main considerations are that guest parking must be arranged externally via a third-party vendor, which adds to the total event cost, and the provided food and beverage services are also outsourced. Repeat clients benefit from continuous discount offerings.
Reflecting on my September wedding, I am filled with immense gratitude and joy. It was, without a doubt, the most magical day of my life, and it wouldn't have been possible without the extraordinary team at Rock Events, especially the incredible Lauren Jacks. Our venue, the Madison Theatre in downtown Detroit, provided a stunning backdrop, and Lauren's expertise shone throughout the process. Her ability to work seamlessly with all our vendors, some familiar and others new to her, was remarkable. The synergy and coordination she displayed ensured that our special day was flawless. Knowing Lauren was there, I vividly remember the feeling of absolute serenity and confidence. She was more than just a contact at the venue; she was like a day-of coordinator, handling everything with finesse and professionalism. Her attention to detail during the venue visits and the valuable reminders she provided were crucial in making our wedding day perfect. Lauren's involvement made the entire experience much less stressful. Her calm demeanor and exceptional organizational skills gave me the assurance that everything would go according to plan. And it did! Not a single thing went amiss on our wedding day, a testament to Lauren's dedication and expertise. In summary, Lauren Jacks and the team at Rock Events played an integral role in making our wedding the best day of our lives. Went here originally on during a company outing to see hocus locus 2. Was super cool they set this up for us, it was a cool experience. It was located in a weird spot of the building though not where it shows the Madison I ended up walking into the buddys to see if they knew where to go and they weren’t to sure either. Luckily the people running the show eventually came out to lead everyone in. They served snacks and drinks as well which was pretty cool being they set this up for us for free.
Beautiful space for any event but especially corporate or if you need to showcase your company with employees or otherwise. Very modern, but also had a great Detroit feel...that purple wall paper inside is so cool. The functionality of the space is on point for any size or level. Employees from the sound/video crew to the servers are ALL super nice, attentive, professional, and awesome! I’m a professional photographer and shot an event here, even though I wasn’t a guest of the party I was still treated as such. The views are amazing, space is large and inviting, I can’t wait until I’m back for another event! Great job Madison!
