This was my first time ever using a cleaning service, and I am honestly blown away. I’ve always been very particular about how my home is cleaned and never thought anyone would meet my standards—but Rosario and her team exceeded every expectation. They were incredibly fast, efficient, and extremely detail-oriented. Everything was done with care and precision. The cleaning team (martha’s team)came in and did an absolutely incredible job. A team of four people worked non-stop for nearly five hours, wiping down all the dust, following up with wet cleaning, and making sure everything--from toilets and lights to cabinets, counters, and floors--was spotless. They were extremely thorough and worked with care and attention to every little detail. I truly appreciate their hard work and would gladly recommend them to anyone needing a deep post-construction clean. I recently hired The Maid Place for a deep cleaning as we’re expecting our first baby very soon. This is a new-build home we moved into just 3 months ago, so it wasn’t in bad shape — but I wanted it deeply cleaned before the baby arrives, especially since I can’t safely use harsh chemicals myself during pregnancy. I provided a clear written list and emphasized that the first floor was the top priority. The second floor is rarely used and not a concern. I explained this again during a walkthrough. Five cleaners came — they were polite and on time, and even asked about going over. I agreed and said yes, just please finish everything properly. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst deep cleaning service I’ve ever used. I’ve hired several in the past — but this one felt like basic surface-level cleaning. The master bathroom, which had two people assigned to it, still had visible grime on the shower, faucets, and sink. The stove and kitchen sink were also left looking untouched. When I brought this up, one cleaner just rubbed the spot with a dry towel and said that’s all they could do — no effort to use sprays, scrubbing tools, or even try again. I had to clean many areas myself afterward — completely defeating the purpose of hiring help during this stage of pregnancy. When I contacted the admin office, I was shocked by how dismissive they were. One bragged that they “clean for celebrities” — which has nothing to do with the fact that the work here was subpar. Another accused me of saying I didn’t want them to go over time, which is not true. I only asked that time be used efficiently, which is why I took the time to clearly explain and walk them through my priorities. Their only solution was to send someone back — and even that follow-up was more excuses and zero accountability. No apology, no effort to make it right. I hired this service based on glowing reviews, but now I wish I had trusted the few negative ones — they were accurate. For anyone expecting a baby, needing reliable help, or just wanting a real deep clean: save your money and go elsewhere. You can absolutely find better cleaning and better customer service.
