Efficient booking system and when I called to add in a manicure he told me to come earlier so very flexible that day. Both pedicure and manicure were done very well (although I am NOT a fan of roughing up nails especially for a normal polish, it is damaging and not caring for the nails, when I asked him not to do that to the other nails he listened so that is all good). Great massage chairs, very clean and they have a toilet. It looks like they offer teas and coffees although I was never asked.
I’m very unhappy with the service I received from Tina (Tini). I booked a gel manicure specifically with a BIAB base because my nails are weak and prone to breaking without it. During the appointment I noticed Tina applied colour without first applying BIAB. I queried this at the time and she said she would “do it later” and told me to cure under the UV lamp. That didn’t make sense, as BIAB is a base layer and I’ve had BIAB done for years, but I allowed her to continue. At the end of the treatment I raised the BIAB base again. Tina then told me I didn’t need BIAB because my nails “weren’t long enough”. This was not discussed beforehand, and it contradicts what I booked and paid for. My nails were long enough to be shaped into an almond shape, so the explanation didn’t add up. A week later, one nail has broken. I haven’t had a broken nail in over two years while using BIAB, which is exactly why I book it. If the service couldn’t be provided as booked, that should have been clearly communicated before starting and I should have been given the option to proceed or not. I’d like this addressed, as I did not receive what I booked for. **Update** I called the salon and the manager I spoke to said he was unaware of what had happened and needed to speak to his manager. A partial discount was offered, however the call was handled unprofessionally. I was told I should feel lucky with the offer and that, if it were up to him, he would have offered less. Rather than taking accountability that the service wasn’t provided as booked, I was given excuses, including that BIAB can “sometimes go on top of gel colour” and there was also an attempt to shift responsibility onto me by saying I should “tell her next time”, despite the fact I raised the missing BIAB base during the appointment multiple times. The handling afterwards was dismissive of accountability and is inappropriate.
Excellent service- honestly the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had nails done many times in my life. The guy is great! Highly recommend. Detail, comfort, and customer focused. Did a great job , I showed a photo and It was exactly what I wanted. Thank you!
I’ve been coming back here, genuinely my go to! I’ve always been so happy with their work! The studio is so pretty, you get a complimentary hot drink, their prices are very reasonable for the service you get, and they have a loyalty program where you accumulate discounts! Always very happy with the results!
Nail Spa is my favourite nail salon in Central London. During my recent visit, Candy did my classic french tip (gel) and I loved it! The salon is clean and they sterilised their manicure/pedicure equipments. Highly recommended 🫶🏼
