Best money ever spend and yes this totally could have been a very pretty handbag! We were struggling with our 7 month old golden retriever full of beans, while he knew all the commands he wasn’t responding to them, walking on lead and recall were non existent up to the point I didn’t want to walk him anymore. It took less than 5 minutes for Mitch to get this dog under control and completely transform our walks and behaviour in general and teach us step by step what to do. Complete game changer, we learned so much and are ever so grateful. You pay for what you get. Thanks a million Mitch.
Testimonial for Mitch, the Paw Professor – Dog Training I now have the dog I always wanted. Max, our dog, is not a bad dog, but his enthusiasm often took over his good nature. Prior to our 1.5-hour lesson, he would not obey commands, rarely acknowledged us, was easily distracted, pulled on the lead, and was generally untrustworthy when off the lead. After reading about your training methods and watching your online video, we chose you as our trainer because your approach and techniques aligned perfectly with our own beliefs. The results have been incredible. Max is now excellent off-lead, obeys commands, stops pulling on the lead when asked, and is completely trustworthy off-lead. Mitch, thank you. Within 15 minutes you had Max behaving like the dog we always hoped for. He is happier, we are happier, and our only regret is not having done this two years earlier. I would recommend Mitch to any dog owner-best $250 I spent in a long time.
Dozer our 6 month Labrador completed his week of boot camp and passed with flying colours. Life is significantly easier for dog and owners since the seven- day stint with Mitch. Skills were taught in a home setting, so it was easier for Dozer to transfer his new knowledge to home-life with us. There is no more leash pulling and he now walks alongside us with or without leash. He rarely jumps up on anyone, has improved recall and readily goes to his crate for sleep and respite. After meeting Mitch, observing his rapport with dogs and seeing the environment and program he offered, we had no reservations in handing over Dozer to his care. Mitch is skilled, easy to relate to and dogs love him, so much so, that Dozer hopped back in the car when we got home with a look that said “take me back to boarding school please.” -see photo. Thanks Mitch, we are so grateful for your support.
Sorry I haven't reviewed before now. Saw Mitch Oct '24 with my GSD who was becoming more reactive. Chose Mitch because of reviews but also because he knows the breed. I was willing to travel 130km one way to see him. What a life changer. If you're not willing to listen to Mitch who is a straight shooter then go somewhere else. I can now walk my dog with so much less stress knowing I have full control with the use of her collar. No more lunging for cats, I only have to say 'uh, uh'! Can even do when she hasn't her collar on, though sometimes she knows it's not on! I now have a large crate and she's so happy to go in there. We're still getting there but it has been life changing for us both. Thank you Mitch.
I couldn’t recommend Mitch highly enough! We were really struggling with our dog’s behaviours and Mitch was a game changer for us. He didn’t just train our dog, he taught us how to understand and work with him which was most important. We will definitely come back to see Mitch for any future training needs!
