Dr. Washington and Dr. Rucker are the absolute best! They have treated our animals amazingly. They are kind, compassionate, informative, and communicative. The vet techs are also very compassionate and they make sure our animals are loved-on when they’re away from us.
We brought Pepper in after she threw up, and was consistently nauseous for an hour. I called around in a panic only to have several vets say they didn't do walk ins and they were full up. When I called Pet Hospitals they were so sweet and understanding and suggested I come in within the hour. She was seen immediately and everyone at the reception desk and the vet aides were so friendly and welcoming. Dr. Brittany Washington came in very soon after we were admitted. She recommended anti-nausea pills and told me to come back if the problems persisted. After two days of not eating we went to an urgent care on Sunday night concerned about fatty liver disease where I got the opposite experience. We went back here on Monday morning as soon as we could. They saw a blockage on the xrays and recommended surgery immediately. It was supposed to be routine but they found a complication that could not be explained or fixed once inside. They called us immediately and gave us one last opportunity to see our sweet cat while she was still alive. Dr. Washington was there to answer questions and she showed so much empathy, I will never forget her kindness. They gave us as much time as we needed. The day after, when my husband called, feeling guilty to ask about it more she called back within hours to talk him through it again and reassure him there was nothing we could have done. She offered to talk to him anytime. He was so comforted. We will never take the care given to Pepper here for granted. I highly recommend this vet.
I absolutely love the Pet Hospital. They are friendly and no matter what location they all have LOVE for my baby Atlas. I am never concerned when I leave him for daycare. Also, I have to give a great shout out to their Downtown Groomer Deseana, not sure if I spelled it right. She was amazing, from the cut to whatever she used on him, but he smelled amazing for days. Just look at his tie. LOVE HER!. Last Valentine day they game me a loving picture card for me, but gift for me.
We had a very pleasant first visit with Dr. Rucker and Madison at the downtown clinic. They were kind, caring, and thoroughly professional! Thank you for accepting us as new patients—we’re so pleased that baby Knox has such an awesome team to help care for him. Kudos to a truly great team!
I drive past so many other vets to get to this place. I’ve brought my cat Ninja here for the past couple of years. He’s loved it (as much as a cat can possibly love going to the vet). They are always so kind and gentle with him, and it’s evident in the way that he responses to their techs and doctors. They have always gone out of their way to go above and beyond for us. Ninja had some complications after a surgery a few months ago, and they fought for him! They made sure he was back to feeling like himself, and they called multiple times to check up on him. My cat actually passed recently after an emergency medical event and was treated after hours at another place. I wish I could have brought him here! I know they would have responded quickly and appropriately to solve whatever issues he was having. I believe he would still be alive if I had brought him to Dr. Haddock. When I called to let the Pet Hospital know about his passing, and they were so kind and supportive. Dr. Haddock even sent us a handwritten card in the mail. I will forever take all of my pets to the Pet Hospital. RIP Ninja
