The Prather Team (Keller Williams Bluegrass) just sold my mom's house, and working with them was a very positive experience. They guided us through everything, making the process easy and stress free. They did a great job keeping us informed and explaining things throughout the process and most importantly, maximizing the value of Mom's investment in the house. First, they offered practical advice on affordable updates and repairs, which made a real difference. This improved the value of the house and made it sell faster. And they didn't just leave us to handle it – they recommended fantastic professionals for painting, carpeting, and minor repairs, all of whom did excellent, affordable work. The place looks terrific after following their recommendations. They have deep expertise in the local real estate market and used a skillful, data-driven approach to arrive at a price. Then, they adjusted the price strategically in response to showing statistics and open house feedback. This is where I feel they really shined - pricing the house correctly and then recalibrating in real-time based on available information. I think their strategy got us the highest price possible. They are very good at this. For the listing, the photographer, Joe, took gorgeous, expert photos that look like they belong in a magazine. He really brought out the beauty of the house. They also did posts and a very cool video walkthrough on social media. They have a Cyber Backer, Madie, who handles all things online. She is awesome; everything was rolled out very smoothly and she was very thorough - our listing was on all the real estate sites that I checked. We got tremendous reach for our listing. Our agent, Keith, hosted the video walkthrough and several open houses. He even went through the neighborhood passing out flyers to promote the open houses. Keith worked super hard on this and has a terrific winning attitude. He's a great agent. The closing was quick and painless. The transaction coordinator, Helen, took care of everything document and closing related. She was super efficient and nice and made everything run smoothly. The closing attorney was convenient and had a nice, comfortable meeting room. He did a great job of making complicated things understandable and keeping things moving. I highly recommend the Prather Team; it's a real estate machine!
