I cannot say enough good things about Jan! She made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. She came promptly on time and ensured myself and my bridesmaids looked their best on my special day. She’s incredible to work with and was patient as I slowly tested some of her products out prior to the wedding due to having very sensitive skin. I would highly recommend Jan if you want to look you’re best self for any important event.
I discovered Jan through Instagram while browsing bridal makeup photos, and I was immediately drawn to the flawless, natural looks she created for her brides. After meeting her, I knew she was the perfect fit. Jan is kind, knowledgeable, and intuitive. She really took the time to explore my vision for the look I wanted, answering all my questions thoughtfully. She even created a customized skincare plan for the week leading up to the wedding using Eminence products. On the big day, my makeup was everything I had hoped for—seriously flawless and natural—and it lasted ALL day long! I am so grateful I found Jan and still use her today for my skincare and eyebrow shaping needs!
Jan is such a wonderful makeup artist! She did the makeup for my wedding in September and it was absolutely stunning. She listened to all my concerns and questions and in return, she turned out a makeup look that was so BEAUTIFUL! She is also so fun! The bridal party remarked to me how comfortable Jan made them feel. I could not have dreamed of someone more perfect that Jan for such an important day! If you are in need of wedding makeup, a facial treatment, or ANYTHING else, you have to get Jan, she is truly THE BEST.
There are not enough adjectives to describe Jan Gilsdorf. She was incredible to work with. From our first encounter over the phone, to emailing back and forth, finally meeting in person for my bridal trial and then doing makeup on my wedding day - Jan was perfect! She made me feel comfortable, asked questions I didn't know I needed to answer and guided me through the process. She offers both airbrush and traditional makeup, which is the route we went since I don't normally wear a lot of makeup day-to-day. Jan made me feel like the MOST beautiful girl in the world. I would recommend her to every one of my girlfriends.
