Where do I even start! I reached out to Hilary after seeing the incredibly colourful spreads she created, hoping she could bring something similar to a Dine Wilder pop-up dinner. Not only did she agree, she absolutely delivered. The food was colourful, abundant and bursting with flavour, and our guests talked about it all night. We had some tricky dietary requests and Hilary didn’t even hesitate. She and her team were organized, efficient, communicative and an absolute joy to work with. They crafted an inclusive, delicious menu for 30 guests, all served in an art gallery without a kitchen. We can’t wait to work with The Rooted Table again!

It’s no easy feat to prepare dinner for 30+ women in a space with no kitchen, but somehow The Rooted Table, led by the amazing Hilary, pulled it off with ease and style. They recently catered our Dine Wilder dinner at the beautiful Ashdale Gallery in North Vancouver and honestly blew everyone away. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, full of flavor, and beautifully presented — you could tell a lot of heart and care went into everything. Hilary has this calm energy that quietly and subtly commands a space, making everything feel effortless. Even under pressure, she radiates a warmth that isn’t often felt in high-stakes situations, and it shows in every interaction. She wasn’t phased by cooking in challenging conditions and took everything in stride, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone around the table. If you’re looking for a catering team that delivers food that tastes incredible, looks amazing, and is served with care, you can’t go wrong with The Rooted Table.
