I resisted writing this review until now because I was so upset with the way I was treated at this high end spa and just couldn't deal with writing a review the time. I have to express how appalled I am to have been treated like a second class citizen. My husband bought me a gift card last Christmas that would have covered several treatments. I was pleased with my first experience though I felt the front desk staff could be more courteous. I believe substandard staff usually starts with poor management, and this brings me to my next experience. My second experience was absolutely abhorrent. I booked a spa day for myself on my birthday. I planned an afternoon at the spa beginning with a swim, sauna, lunch at the resort and then end with a massage. Upon checking in I was refused a locker in the luxury spa locker room and was told I had to use the general outdated pool locker room which was at the pool level, because I arrived too early before my spa booking. I was shown to the pool locker room and was given an old stained robe to use. After my swim I went downstairs to use the spa sauna and showers. I asked if I could get a locker at that time. I was refused again and told I could only get a locker 10-15 minutes before my massage appointment. So I had to go up and down levels between the spa locker room and pool locker. I went to have lunch and returned 15 minutes before my appointment when the same girl told me she just gave away the last locker!!!! Just so I didn't have to go back upstairs to the pool locker, I was given a Grandover paper bag to put my clothes into and I took my purse in with me to my massage appointment. I was fuming and my massage experience became a venting therapy session with the massage therapist who was very kind and apologetic. It's been a year since I recieved the gift card from my husband and I still have money on it because after my birthday experience I haven't wanted to go back.
The best massage I have ever had in my life. Maggie was the best I will absolutely be back! She actually listened to my problem areas and addressed them.
Can honestly say that I had the best massage of my life. Andrea was absolutely amazing. My husband had an equally excellent massage with Maggie.
I came here for a girls weekend recently. The spa service was wonderful, and we had access to the other spa amenities for the whole day which was really great. They get 4 stars instead of 5 because the pool and hot tub could use some love and the spa locker room really needs a private changing area.
Lovely spa day!!! Vegan option was not hard but could be better. I had a beautiful salad and asked them to just give me all the veggies they had available in place of the meat. I wound up with some awesome artichokes!!! My pedicure was lovely and I truly had an amazing service. I will return again and bring some friends.
