Incredible! We came to celebrate our engagement and it was phenomenal! Kelly was so great and walked us through and taught us about the mansion! Our servers Alan and Nick were incredible, and so friendly!! The food was, insanely wonderful! I’m hungry just thinking about it! By far the best fillet I have ever had!! We got to sit in the bar area that used to be the back patio, before dinner and enjoy a drink! Such a good menu of options and amazing service with Fernando! And.. for dessert, GET THE BREAD PUDDING!!

We were in Nashville for one night and decided to dine at the The Standard and it did not disappoint! The historic townhouse is 18,000 sf and the staff is more than happy to show it off. The bar area is stunning, we enjoyed a cocktail there before heading to our table for dinner. We dined in a room that housed the rarest collection of Makers Mark bourbon in the world! The food was exquisite. I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant experience.

Went for my birthday dinner. We had four people total and got an amazing table up in the balcony. The house vibes were perfect for the occasion. The bisque was amazing. The Caesar salad could have used a little more flavor but they do make all their dressings in house. The cocktails and chocolate mousse were amazing.

This was our second visit, and once again the food and service were excellent! Pictured is the crab bisque, New York strip, mac & cheese, and their delicious creamed corn. Consistently one of the best dining experiences in Nashville.

My husband and I enjoyed an anniversary dinner here this past weekend. The building itself is beautiful and historic. The host was very accommodating as we were early for our reservation. He even changed our table to a more secluded area with not much foot traffic. Our server David, was attentive and brought our drinks quickly. He chatted a bit about the history of the restaurant and was very friendly. We started with the charcuterie appetizer. It was plenty for the two of us and had a great variety of flavors. The employee that dropped it off, did just that, with no explanation. Then David showed up to our table and explained all the different cheeses and jam. I ordered the special filet known as the Standard. It came on a mashed potato hash and what they called tobacco onions. The potato hash was just okay and the onions were really a garnish. The steak itself was amazing. It was cooked exactly as I ordered, which is blue. The sauce on the steak was also very good. My husband ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes on the side. He enjoyed those as well. For dessert we shared a slice of key lime pie which was good but not out of the ordinary. I was a little surprised when we received our bill at the end of the night. We knew because it was a high-end restaurant that it would be more expensive. It was almost $300 including tip for the two of us. I was a little disappointed by a few things. Our service seemed hit or miss with timing. I don't know if it's because the servers spent more time with the guests or what was going on. Another couple seated in our same room actually had to request service as they had not seen anyone after being seated. My gin martini was very good but I was surprised at the upcharge for requesting blue cheese olives. I felt like everything should be included in one price for a drink instead of piecemeal. I was also disappointed that I did not see any dress code enforcement. Again for a fine dining restaurant they should require collared shirts and real pants, not jeans and sneakers.
