Just got married here. Really outstanding experience. Gorgeous venue, amazing bar and bar staff. I really just enjoyed everything about it. Melanie, our assigned wedding coordinator did an excellent job with all the details, small issues that arose, and anything that we needed. She even had the foresight to save some of our late night snacks for us. She was the hero that we needed. Highlight recommend the venue, Melanie, and really everyone involved with making our day perfect. Thank you everything.
I don't even know where to begin - my husband and I cannot recommend The Starling enough. We had our ceremony and reception at Starling on August 8 and we truly couldn't imagine having it anywhere else. The moss wall and all the plants, the beautiful interior, the boardwalk. The venue speaks for itself and we continually said “even if we had no décor, it would be so beautiful.” It checked all of our boxes and just felt like us. We had our ceremony on the boardwalk and one of our favorite parts of the day was the bridge going up and the boats honking and cheering right as we were walking back down the aisle after saying “I do”. The true superstar of the day: Matt. Matt gave us our initial venue tour and was then later assigned to be our day-of-coordinator and we were absolutely thrilled. From even our initial meeting with him it felt more like he was our friend than anything. He was always quick to respond, offered us great suggestions and was problem-solving without us even being aware on the day-of. He made sure we were able to actually enjoy our day and demanded that I stop stressing and let him handle anything that arose. If the venue didn't sell itself, Matt would have absolutely sold it. Matt, you’re the best and we’re still talking about you 4 months later! Our guests continue to rave about how beautiful the venue was and how great all the workers were. You can tell the staff takes so much pride in the work they do and that they know their stuff. Having the boardwalk was such a hit and honestly life-saving on a hot, hot August evening. No need to look any further for a venue - BOOK THE STARLING! You’ll have the best day ever.
We just had my daughter’s wedding at The Rivulet, 309 Water street. From start to finish they were easy to work with and very professional. Tyler was wonderful to work with showing us the event space but when we were assigned to Mallory for our day of event manager. Oh my word. She is awesome , awesome , awesome. To be more specific, I felt like she was part of our family helping out with everything. She went way above and beyond. The event space is beautiful allowing many options for cocktail hour and reception area. Both inside or outside along the river. All I can say is use this space. Use this space or just use two birds. You will not be disappointed!!!!!!! This group is definitely number one in Milwaukee.
I absolutely love photographing weddings at The Starling! You can’t beat the location along the river, with so many gorgeous spots for photos just steps away. The venue itself is modern, stylish, and has such a fun, welcoming vibe.
We recently hosted an International Women's Day at the Starling through the Milwaukee ICC and it was absolutely phenomenal! I first connected with Marina and she was the BEST! She was so detail oriented and wanted to ensure that our vision was fulfilled. It was the best event we have hosted yet. We look forward to a continued partnership! Thanks again Marina for your hard work and being accommodating to our requests.
