The Venice Beach House is very special. It is a tranquil place to stay and I really appreciate how faithfully the traditional Craftsman elements of the home have been maintained or restored. There are other neighborhoods in LA that I like better but I honestly go out of my way to stay at the Beach House anyway. It just has a special energy. you’ll leave feeling restored and refreshed. It really does feel like a home, and you always end up befriending other guests. Everyone who works there is lovely and helpful. It’s nice to experience service with a genuine personal touch.

We had a truly remarkable time at the Venice Beach House. We did a full house buy out for a family gathering between Christmas and New Years for a family of 16 ranging in age from 28 - 96. The staff was extraordinarily kind, helpful, efficient, and helped make our gathering fun and easy. I cannot say enough about how perfect the location was and the comfort of the common areas as well as the rooms. We really felt like we were at home. The breakfast was so delicious and we brought food in for other meals to make it easy. Walking on the beach, proximity to Abbot Kinney to shop and people watch, plus a winter swim during a break in the storm, all made our time together perfect. We would recommend the Venice Beach House without hesitation for a short stay or a full buy out, like we did. Everyone in the family wants to return next year. A VERY unique and special spot run by wonderful, warm, and caring people.

This place is such a hidden gem. Really beautiful spot, right by the beach, tucked away. Fantastic service, lovely breakfast in the morning. Everything is very thoughtfully done. Lovely interior furniture / design. Perfect for a solo traveler in particular. Note the bathrooms are shared, but there was never a wait/I barely felt i was sharing it. Will absolutely stay again.

Wow! This is a great B&B with beautiful rooms in an excellent location direct on Venice Beach. The staf is extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us great service during our stay. The breakfast is excellent.

Absolutely loved this place! Hands down the most peaceful little haven in the middle of all the Venice Beach action. I’ve stayed at a bunch of hotels and Airbnbs around LA, but this is easily my new favorite. Cozy, comfy, full of character, and somehow super quiet—even though you’re just steps from the beach, bars, and restaurants. The staff? So sweet and welcoming. One of them even baked banana bread and fresh scones every morning (and I swear, those scones were life-changing). I don’t usually leave Google reviews, but this spot 100% deserves the shoutout!
